Agree. Cunnington and Carey were hugely homesick and had major family worries early in their careers, but they still trained like pros and hit every KPI.
I kept saying this and posters disagreed.
A competitive animals deals with poor teammates or crap umpires by kamikazing the next 3 contests. Carey’s 94 season (may have been 93) he was a very angry man. He’d respond by throwing himself into it. One day he couldn’t make the contest so he punched the defender in the back of the head. Got 3 weeks.
Jason would respond by sulking. Not chasing. Not going at blokes. I can still picture his empty stare as he trots off once the ball was gone. Yeah he snotted Kelly but that was weak.
If it comes out that him and port agreed to this in about round 8 I would not be surprised.
