Nearly 60% of supporters view Ablett as the best in the league. Must say I agree.

The poll was done only 3 weeks ago. Not much has changed since IMO.

I would have Brown ahead of Riewoldt this season purely as a KP Forward. Ablett has been a little inconsistant this year, but he has still dominated enough to warrant the no.1 position.

I don't think it's class. It's consistency that makes him better over the course of a season. With everyone at their best I think those other 3 are better than Ablett.

i dont know how ablett can not be the best player in the comp, he has no fault at all.The biggest criticism of him on bf seems to be that he dosent win enough contested ball, yet he was leading the comp after rnd 6 before he got injuired ofr contested ball won.

hes strong,fast,reads the play well, breaks a tackle like no one else can, makes good decissions ,takes good marks, can play up forward ,good at winning his own ball ,is brilliant by hand and foot and has that X factor were something always happens when he has the ball in his hand.

he is the perfect player, no fault at all and to not have him number one is just silly.

It's silly to say no player has a fault. I'm more than happy to say Riewoldt is the no.1 player this year. I'd have Ablett no.2 but Hayes, Montagna and Swan are right up there. There is no right or wrong in rating the no.1 player during a season, but to call someone silly for not rating Ablett no.1, is silly.
