Yeah, he sounds a bit rough, but most of the Channel Nine crew we grew up had voices that would grate at times, too.

It’s not even just the vocabulary - it’s the fact that they have to keep wanking on about it. Yes we get it they play on a pitch that may or may not be a determining factor in the outcome of the game, both teams play on it, let them bloody well play and just shut up and commentate the delivery and the shot

Agree 100% but if you're going to keep discussing the pitch, throw in a different bloody word every now and again. Its maddening
