That Carey guy did well from the midfield.. ;)

Would the Wet Toast be interested in him? Would certainly add some grunt to their midfield, and could be played as a tagger............ Lets get the deal done!

How about:
1. you piss off
2. The man gave everything when on the field. Was a very good player before he blew out his Achilles - 3 B&F's.
3. Played good finals footy.

Point 1 was a little harsh. Points 2 and 3, ,whilst absolutely true, do not rebut the charge ... that being, Swallow couldn't kick from a clearance to a target (unless said target was an oversized barn)

I have a sneaky feeling that Spitta is going to have a pretty good 2017.
I can't agree.

As much as I like him, I think that the likes of Dumont, Jacobs, Clarke, McDonald, maybe even the likes of Mountford, as well as Hrovat will go past him at a rate of knots, if they aren't already past him. IMO he's borderline best 22 already and I think he'll only slide further as those guys get better.

Hopefully loses a few kilo's and gets a little bit of speed back, he is absolutely useless in transition when the opposition has the footy, looks like he is running through knee deep mud.
He and Cunningtons weight throughout the year was unacceptable. Probably a sign of the level of injuries we had and the lack of midweek training. Still, not good enough for a captain.

Really? I don't think Swallow presented badly, or anything like fatty Cunners does.

No doubt as a player he has tapered off due to injury and progression of more talented players, but I certainly wouldn't be knocking his fitness or his application (note his defensive stats compared to many others in the team).
