Best game for the club imo
10 tackles was the best part. So he can do it…
He had a purple patch in the first half of 2019 that people tend to forget about for some reason, but I think tonight was up there among his best.

I don’t think it’s overly surprising that he’s played well when Parish is playing forward due to a corkie though.

Yeah he had a few good games to start 2019 and 2020, but I value performance on a big Friday night on the 150th game over those.

Lets hope this can be the kickstart of a rejuvenated Dylan Shiel. He was very good last night but we need to see it a lot more regularly.

Ahhh the old ASADA method.

You sneaky motherducker.

Now, if I could only remember the username of your missus…

She’s never been on the site. Ever.

So I wouldn’t bother looking. Or asking anyone.

1 good game doesn't deserve a heap off praise for a bloke on 800k a year .
Play well get the praise.
Play crap get shit .

I think he’s lying.

Prove me wrong.

A team from asada is coming around to your house shortly. You'll need to provide evidence that proves your innocence. While you're waiting for the outcome you'll need to tattoo both cheeks, and if you're later found not guilty you can have them removed at your expense. ;)

Wow that interview

Looked very, very, very flat. He's had a really rugged couple of months.. dropped, savaged. In a quiet moment someone needs to ask him r u ok. I'm not sure if I just witnessed a guy disappointed at a loss or a guy struggling with depression.

The Essendon punters wanting guys to stop smiling and feel losses - well you have your guy. Bet you didn't expect it to be Dylan Shiel.

Much better game from Shiel. And generally If I had to chose between him and Parish getting a ton of ball it would be Sheil. Neither are great with the ball but Shiel gets better penetration with his forward entries and gives us more forward momentum with his run (to my eye anyway).

He does so much better when he's not in the same team as Parish and we looked a lot more balanced through the middle of the ground tonight.

Looked much happier in the interview after the game as well!

Switch seems flicked and he has a good side around him in caldwell, perkins, hobbs etc.

If it gets us sheezel, I trade parish
Why wouldn’t you just figure it out when you’ve got two quality players on the list? Who’s to say whoever we trade in doesn’t impact Shiel as well?

Clearly shows what his best position is. Has struggled for form playing a different role but has been back at his best the last few weeks. That is the issue for us.
