Sorry I have a differing opinion but I am sick of the adoration on here for his game yesterday when he was so ordinary early - when it mattered. Open your eyes. Will he be champ? Probably - hope so. Has the talent. His second half was as good as I have seen him play. But save the over the top adulation for when it is deserved. I don't think yesterday was a fantastic full game.

Hard to get big stats when you are playing out of the goal square in a team with only 5 or 6 forward entries per quarter.

Maybe I won't - just saying the raving on here for yesterday doesn't fit. Maybe not his fault he wasn't in the game early - but he wasn't. The kid is very talented.

Could easily match his scoreboard impact with more shots on goal in a more offensive team. Hard to score goals in a side that scores 6 or 7 a game.

Beats him on pretty much every other stat, with less TOG and 70 games less at the same age. That’s effectively 3 seasons less. The comparison at 60 games would be even more clear cut.

Would like to see a few more people see him for the player he is and is becoming, and to cut the rubbish about no defensive game which is clearly just rubbish.

Enjoy what could become a great NMFC career. Much more fun than potting blokes

Yep and it helped that his team mates put on shepherds for him. Powell, Ziebell and Turner.
