Sadly my mother passed away yesterday. Mum was 82 but this was unexpected. Mum is the reason I am a life long NMFC fanatic - she was born in West Melbourne into a NMFC supporting family.

But the priest had one rider - it has to be the proper song, not that "kangaroos crap version".

Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts. Mum was sent of in style yesterday with lots of good memories. A few Arden Street memories made it into my eulogy and mum was carried out to two full run throughs of the NMFC song.
