A good year for coming last?

Cheer up roo fans, its not such a bad year to come last. Get some more young guns in the draft, an uncontracted bomber player or two. Carey will be on the veteran list so there will plenty of room in the salary cap. Dean Solomon would be nice, or the 2 Johnsons. Are they uncontracted bomber fans?

Let 2001 be our rebuild year, play the youngsters and the year won't be wasted.

Then again, knowing Pagan he'll probably take these youngsters to yet another finals series.

Hypothetically who could we do a Collingwood on (ala Freeborn, that Lions player whose name I cannot recall) Someone with a bit of guts and go in the centre, one of the Johnsons.

How about a direct swap of McKernan and Alessio, similiar type players.

looks as if this years draft will be better than last years

there are a couple of kids over in perth that look absolute freaks
also nick aloi and clinton runnals from western jets look pretty classy

you know how everyone thought adelaide/westcoast/freo were gonna come last after ansett cup we play adelaide after geelong. west coast the week before essendon and freo between rnd 8-14. sydney had WCE and ADEL first two games.

If you read my last sentance, I haven't realy ridden them off anyway. Besides, whether they finish first or last I'll still go to see them play.
