A-League Men Round 9 and its that time of year again the traditional Melbourne Christmas derby, but this time its the Victory that are hosting for the first time but without their head coach who has decided to depart earlier in the week for an overseas offer will this effect Victory's preparations? Can City pounce on the turmoil? Or will it just be business as usual? we'll need to wait and see. Other important matches of the round Friday night is shaping up as one at Coppers between Adelaide United V Sydney FC especially for Sydney FC can they bounce back after last weeks loss to Western United and keep in touch with the top six or will Adelaide just keep doing what they have been doing all season and just consolidate their position in the top two? and the battle of the cellar dwellers is on this Saturday evening up at Suncorp stadium between Brisbane Roar V Perth Glory will one of these two teams get their first win of the season? all to play out in a jam packed Christmas round.

Reckon Western finally burst Auckland. just a feeling.
They did it to the Nix in their first ever game, so I wouldn't be surprised (though half the team at the time was poached from Wellington, and their coach...)

We need a new keeper, should’ve stopped both of co$ta’s goals. We’ve blown 6 points from the 3 draws at home, will come back to bite us in the end.
He was pretty poor in trying to save Sydney's last two goals especially the last one he come out to punch and misjudged it completely. Don't know about Costa's first that was a rocket most keepers would have struggled to save that.
