I hate condensed Christmas scheduling in the A League, should have a 2 week break between Pre Xmas and post New Year's, like they do in Scotland and a couple of other Euro nations..

Not as if crowds in Melbourne could compete with the boxing day test anyway, and this year's 'derby' between WU and Victory is going to be embarrassingly small crowd wise.

I do think it's probably justified (xmas period schedulling) this year because of the World Cup, but in principle, I still want a Xmas period break (esp for the players and their familes) even if it means starting the season a couple of weeks earlier.
