Very controversial penalty given to Brisbane and van Dyke scores!

Hey Naldo milked the obstruction for all it was worth and IMO a very soft penalty, but by the letter of the law Jamieson did block his run. But I reckon it is very harsh to give a penalty for that.

EDIT: Cracking goal by Van Dyke!!!! 2-0.

Brisbane denied a goal which clearly crossed the line. Assistant lagged behind the play and it should be 3-0.



EDIT: Adelaide have a penalty...but McMaster with a wonderful save!!!!!!! Brilliant goalkeeping to deny Owusu.

No, it shows just how ordinary our entire strike force and large portions of our midfield really are

EDIT: Adelaide have a penalty...but McMaster with a wonderful save!!!!!!! Brilliant goalkeeping to deny Owusu.

It was a very ordinary penalty strike, perfect height and not even close to wide enough to trouble McMaster.

Van Dyke is still rubbish...I'm not sure if the return of Henrique, Zullo, Miller and Murdocca in a few weeks will do much for our chances really. It should make us a little more watchable though...

The whole stadium knew Owusu wouldn't score that penalty. He doesn't know how to use his feet. Alemao should have taken responsibility, but he isn't interested.

Then penalty against Jamo was soft, but shithouse defending. Should not have given the ref the option. He also needs to stop whingeing and acting selfish.

Sarkies was Ok tonight, the midfield is not a problem, we are dominating possession in almost all games.

Need someone to put the ball in the back of the net...but who?

How the hell does Owusu pull rank like that? Because he was first to get the ball. Yes Sarkies or Alemao for the penalty for mine. Dodd was blowing too much after the run.

Words cannot express how upset that game me feel. How many chances in the 6 yard box are we going to butcher this season? It must be up to about 15 so far.

It is just a matter of finding someone who can take a shot when it is on offer and not dither about like an under 10 who doesn't want to be labelled the teams ball hog.

I sure hope we sign this Argentinian dude for the ACL or we may as well not even turn up.
