The indians have made it clear that they do not find the term "monkey" to be at all offensive, so there should be no problems with calling them that.

Just want to get our stupid selves on TV.....

You could go as Mr Bastard Monkey. Yes the "political correct" security guards (yes gorillas) will not appreciate your fun.

Which ever way you look at it, this has sure pumped up interest in the Perth test. Promotors delight.

Ah, didn't Tom Moody get part of his WACA salary paid by an Indian family. Let's try the conspiracy theory here, I'm amazed some hack journo has not thought of that angle. Stir up controvesy to get bums on seats.

Please stir the Indians with smart chants, but I think we all know where that line is....................

I dont care what our reputation is like with other countries. I love our team, and they haveNT lost my respect. If you dont like the way we play cricket then dont come here. :thumbsu:

Nar man gloves off........ This is personal now....... Its about us and who we are. Perth should do what we did to the lebs in the northern beaches:D

I have tickets with 3 mates for the first day of the WACA test, we have hired monkey suits, should be an absolute pissa.

Didnt mean it in a bad way. Just reckon that because the topic is so sensitive right now, its a bit hard to tell how people will react. Some might find it funny, others may have a go at you.

go as george bush,a monkey and al jolson,

A Bush,a Monkey and a Jolson!

No matter how the Harbajhan verdict goes guys don't stoop to their level by resorting to racist remarks in retalition.

Australian crowds should show they are above doing this and regardless of the outrage we are feeling towards the racism being displayed by the Indian crowds don't follow suit

Australia's reuptation is getting battered enough as it is and I guarantee if we performed similar actions to what the Indians are currently doing we won't get off as easy or glossed over the way they are.

So give them hell guys, because lord knows they deserve it, but don't stoop to their level by resorting to racist actions.

I hope people get your message I really do.

Give them hell for sure and lets enjoy a win inside the full third day !:thumbsu:

But please..please..nothing racisist. Lets show we ARE above the way they carry on.

praying, praying

I seriously hope it doesn't come to that, or worse theres violence at the ground because it would be the worst day in the sports history.

Even worse if there is violence I would seriously fear for the health and safety of any Australians currently in India given the petulant nature of the Indian cricket supporter, and no i'm not joking on that either.

People may call me melodramatic but we're on the verge of a pretty serious international incident unless we avoid letting our emotions get the better of us.

People had better believe it as well. The world will be watching us in Perth.

For heavens sake...Time magazine has reported on the issue.

Lets have a massive win and show again we have more class than India has shown.

The one thing out of all this spin and crap going around at a million miles an hour is if the Indians actually come out of all this looking ( and correctly so ) as petulant as they are, that will hurt more than loosing the series.

The one thing that will give them the moral high ground ( not that I believe they have any ) is we act as badly as they have.

Exactly. Surely now they'd be cool with the whole stadium chanting "Monkey" at their players. It's not at all offensive to them, so it's okay. I know I'll be singing the Monkey Magic theme song every time an Indian takes a wicket.

I agree with your sentiments Kane. I'd love to see the Perth crowd respond to this nonsense with good humour and class but I'm a little worried some idiots in the crowd with a skin full of p*** will do something ugly that causes a stink.

There's a couple of things I think Cricket Australia and the WACA could do to reduce the possibility of something ugly happening, like an anti-racism campaign or a kind of celebration of Indian culture that might create an atmosphere at the ground that makes something silly happening less likely.

If you've got any ideas on how the authorities could help make the test match a success you might want to contact the WACA or CA and let them know.

Someone just needs to come up with a clever witty comment perhaps someting only Austrlains would get

e.g instead of the old Adelaide Explict language better than Victoria it could be

The Queen at the turn of the 20th Century was far inferior to that of the wife of her predecessor.
