Yes but the value of pick 6 this year is less imo due to it being compromised slightly. Daicos and Darcy likely get bids in the top 5 and then you end up with the 8th highest ranked player in the draft for Cerra which like I said isn't enough. Would hope a second round pick is coming along with that pick 8.

You will still have the same purchasing power on draft night. Your list manager isn’t thinking 6/7/8, he is thinking Andrew/Callaghan/Roberts. The strength of the players available at that pick will be taken into account. The 6th live pick in 2018 was Ben King for example.

If Hawks finish below you I'd imagine they wouldn't hesitate to pick Cerra at that pick. I'm still surprised we havent heard more of them being interested. Exactly what they need in player type and age bracket

I’m not sure the 2 clubs that leak the most talent of anyone are going to take someone on a reasonable 2 year contract. But hypothetically they could yes.

Also if Cerra chooses Carlton it’s because he really dosn’t want to be in Perth and once he makes it public I doubt he’d be going back no matter what. It’s not like he’d be coming for a greater list or the money by the sounds of it.

Not the greatest of bargaining positions unfortunately! Especially not one to be turning down pick 5 or 6.

Cerra looks like he’s still yet to peak, he gets by on class at the moment. He’s still got the skinny shoulders and neck. Though thicker than when he started. When he fully fills out he’s going to be very hard to stop at his height pace and skill combination.

Brayshaw and Serong, both look pretty physically mature. I don’t think we’ll see them get much bigger or stronger, but I think Cerra is still probably 3-5kg off peak playing weight.

I agree that Cerra could enter that group very soon. Also agree that Rowell is not there yet. That ridiculous start to his career is yet to be replicated.

Walsh, Brayshaw, Serong are the best 3 young mids in the league.
