Why would Freo take the 4th or 5th rounder you get for SPS and give you a 3rd rounder back?

Same can be said for other players on the list who might draw 2nd or 3rd round picks to beef up the offer, it's possible but doesn't get us that much closer.

No way we offer up a quality young player, no matter how good Cerra is it doesn't make sense to kick someone out just to bring him in.

Freo will probably send him to the PSD or National Draft rather than accepting a future first and change, so I suspect in the best interests of Cerra and Melbourne we have politely pulled out.

I'm surprised no other club is looking to shift a bit of money around and get in on it. Cerra obviously isn't asking for the world in terms of salary if Melbourne thought it was viable cap wise.
