Would be happy to give Howe (who they offered pick 7 for last season) and our first round pick (top 5). Doubt he would be keen to come to us though

I wouldn't go selling the farm for Treloar. It's going to take a huge contract and about a top 3 pick or equivalent and although he is no doubt a gun he probably wouldn't be in the top 20 midfielders in the league and not as damaging as some would have you think.
In saying that if we don't get a top 2 pick in the draft I'd be more then happy to offer pick 3 for him.

GWS would want a top 5 pick (minimum) for Treloar, can't see Collingwood or Richmond getting that done. Carlton could probably find a way to get a deal done (or Dees or Saints) but I think he'll stay at GWS.

The current trade system doesn't allow a player like Treloar to move to a finals team like Collingwood or Richmond, unless they are a free agent.

Well Collingwood and Richmond would have to Offer the 1st Round Pick + a Player or 2.

Treloar could go thru the Draft and Put Money on his Head. Like what Collingwood did with Luke Ball in 2009 Draft

That's not going to happen, and even if he did, another club will call their bluff and pick up Treloar.

Your first rounder and a fringe player is nowhere near enough to get Treloar, as I say, GWS would want at least a top 5 pick and a quality young player.

Yes it does - O'Rourke picked the Hawks and got there.

He still wont get to Collingwood, elite young talent, instead of disgruntled older player, he would go top 5 pick imo no matter the cost, Brisbane or Gc might be hesitant to pick him based on him wanting to leave in 2 years but every other Vic team with cap would jump at him imo.

What happens IF he does a Beams. Says I go to 1 Club and that is All?

Well IF Pies put 750k-850k on his head. Could scare other teams away

Never Say Never

If he says only Collingwood, i think a trade gets done, i just dont see it via the draft, he is too good not to draft if you are a low Vic side.

If he does say he wants to go to Collingwood, then Collingwood will put together a deal that makes GWS reasonably happy. No one's going to screw GWS, GWS isn't out to screw other clubs. Very good players changing clubs generate deals that are fair enough, cf D. Beams, C. Judd. The destination club doesn't want to lose a very good player who wants to come to them to someone else, and the source club doesn't want to lose a very good player for nothing.

Lions would be very Aware of that;)

I do realise IF Treloar did choose Collingwood as his Destination then we would have to trade something with Substance. 1 Name getting mentioned a lot in Possible Trade is Witts

I think Witts has currency.
