How do Tiger fans see Dimma now retrospectively? I have little respect for the move he made this year.

Always be a club legend for what he did for our club but didn’t like the way he left. Obviously had the suns gig lined up before he left and to see him rolled out in a suns polo talking about his “new toys” before our season had ended has left a bad taste in many of our supporters mouths.

Ditto. I don’t begrudge him the move but it’s obvious he had it lined up from earlier in the year. And the fact that we missed Kingsley is a further kick in the balls.

Still, we got the 3 flags so I’ll take the bad with the good.

Good luck to him I and other tiger fans have moved on. i don't what is but i see something the eyes of ooze he looks very determined and ready to go so don't be surprised if he does a kingsley or a fly in his first season at the helm by also having some sort of success.

Yeah, he was a walking injury. Only managed to limp his way to 226 consecutive games at one point.

The Hardwick era was amazing and changed the club, but nothing lasts forever and I'm glad we're now bringing in some fresh ideas and approach with a new voice.

Excited about the next chapter of the club, an untried coach is always more exciting too because you never know what they'll bring.

I imagine he has a couple of challenging years ahead, but he also might exceed expectations early, who knows?
Either way, happy to give him time to implement his philosophy and vision, so I won't be too critical if we finish low next year.

he was 1 piece of the puzzle that culminated in ultimate success - we still love what he has done for our club and wouldn't take anything back. He can say whatever he wants now as far as i'm concerned to promote his new club as i wouldn't expect any different if he was at ours still.

but a new appointment and a fresh look/plan/approach is what was needed for our club hence why Mini was most likely why he was overlooked in favor of Yze.

Who he brings in will be interesting, he hasn't worked with a heap of people and being untried and a rebuild team this will be a tough gig.

In January 2012, Yze joined Hawthorn as a part-time assistant coach under senior coach Alastair Clarkson.

On 14 November 2014, Yze replaced Luke Beveridge as Hawthorn's backline coach under senior coach Alastair Clarkson, after previously working with the Hawks as a specialist goal-kicking and development coach for the past three seasons. Yze was credited for playing a key role in harnessing the Hawthorn players' elite kicking skills as they developed into the AFL's deadliest team in front of goal over the past two seasons, with the team's accuracy increasing from 48 percent to 57.1 percent during his tenure as goalkicking coach.

Inclined to think all 1st up Coach’s might touchbase with previous senior Coach’s as a mentors for a chat now and then.
Yze coming in really seperates Hardwick from the club.
Hardwick was 2 wins and a draw from the first ten games.
No wins against eventual top 8 teams.
Mcualter won 7 outve 13 with three wins against the final top 8. Nit great but not bad.
He would’ve been blindsided by Hardwick leaving too and not really prepared to push anything new.
Also, we are the only club he’s been an assistant at I think so I think the Board knew what he had to offer.
Yze is fresh face and voice with different contacts in the industry you’d think.

I’m reckon we’re a shot at finals next year.

Hard for anyone to hate him at the moment. Richmond need someone hungry for success, the hunger is gone. His biggest challenge will be to take 10+ premiership players, all on good/great/amazing money and make them hungry again. This isn't gonna be easy.

My main memory of Yze is him missing a goal from around 1 metre out. I may be misremembering that too.

Well, it's funny, the Richmond board and selection panel were asking the Richmond Big Footy board for advice and feedback. So I would imagine we would have a fair idea......What do you reckon?
