Serious or not, he's an option here. Doing things for the league can't be questioned given the time he spends on the podcasts. Another thing that maybe doesn't capture the attention is he is quite prevalent in the archives area of the SFA and has done, or driven, a lot of things there. Passion for the SFA seemed to be lacking in recent seasons, but looks like it's back. I feel he has the best interest of the league at heart in that he'd make decisions for the best of the league. Seems more diplomatic this season, notably with his podcast feedback and is not as angry as last season. The confronting side of ClarkeM may scare of some people approaching him, but given his handling of the podcast I feel that if Admin he'd become more approachable.

Thanks for the kind words Broken. I will have to say it again though, I'm not applying for the position and even if I was offered, I'd say no straight away.

Personally, I think I'd make a great admin. Without being arrogant or up myself, I know how I would do in the role as admin and I know that I'd make the right choices. I've been a part of the committee before and I understand the inner sanctum of the SFA unlike many other. It is Season 18 coming up which means that it'll be my eleventh season in the SFA. The position of admin is no longer tempting to me. Perhaps 3 seasons ago I would have given it a lot of consideration and more than likely put a strong application forward, but after seeing the league change, for what I consider to be to the better, I am not interested in being the admin of a Fantasy Football League. I have the best interest of the league in my heart, I agree, and so I'm openly saying that I do not want the job.

Just imagine being in control of the amount of dickheads in this league. It's just not for me.

Personally, I'd like to think Okey is given the job. He seems to be the favourite and although the poll states that The Filth Wizard has more votes on the board, Okey would be the best option of the two. Okey's salary idea has begun to sway me to some degree and I'm beginning to see myself starting to like the idea however it will need a lot more work before he really implements it.

On what now seems the unrelated topic, I picked TFW. It was really a flip of the coin between him and okey, but I thought that Okey's media thread, which has harbored some great breaking news stories, would be hindered if he became admin.

Okey's salary idea has begun to sway me to some degree and I'm beginning to see myself starting to like the idea however it will need a lot more work before he really implements it.

Bengwatkins has a fair hand in the salary cap thing also, not to be forgotten.

I find the wording "before he really implements it" very interesting. He has never mentioned it in any of his speeches over the last couple of days. I like it as a point of fun and discussion but surely that's as far as it goes. It is a completely unfeasible and unnecessary addition to the league. As an incumbent captain, the last thing I want to be doing is stripping my club to ensure that it fits under a cap. The last thing I want to see is groups of players being unable to play together because of how they are rated.

And here's the kicker... there is NO measure of a players worth to the league. Are you rated by quality of posting? Who rates it? Acquired tastes will be overrated. Is it rated by on-field stats? It's a simulation and its rarely consistent (just look at the non-stop fluctuations in akkaps DT ranking each week). So surely then, we measure it by QUANTITY of posts because that is the only thing we have to rate as far as raw data goes. Welcome to Spamalot.

I don't want my team dictated upon because of how much somebody rates somebody else.

I really rated the salary cap thread, gave myself a high five when I saw my 'dollar worth' but can say categorically that if I were to enter an admin reign it would be with the concept of a salary cap non-negotiably moot. It's a fun talking point but it's integration has no place in a fun league.

Also, beez is now pregnant, and the father could be anyone, although Okey seems to think it might be Reardo which wouldn't shock anyone because he's been sexually harassing his students for years.

What does humility mean to me?

It means kicking boncer's arse when he is being lazy setting up the rules.

It means telling Mobbs to hop to it when the sim needed upgrading.

It means posting frankly about the integrity of the people simming the game.

It means pointing out where captains are failing in their duties.

Did any of this win me any friends? Not a chance in hell.

It got things done though, for the good of the league not for my own benefit.
