Do we keep track of our own scoring?

For the draft portion all you need to do is take players you think will score the highest in the 2025 season

Then at the end of the year I'll tally everything up and declare the winner

How points are scored is in the rules, but basically the big factors are games played, B&F results, All Australian team, Brownlow placing and AFL player ratings

There's also some positional rules that need to be followed (eg minimum number of forwards, defenders, rucks)

Draft order is in

1. Mr MysteryGuest
2. AdelaideFan14
3. adelaidecrows
4. TubbsFarquhar
5. Danger Zone
6. Danger in Texas
7. Slim258
8. Mostyn
9. Drugs Are Bad Mackay?
10. WeeBlake
11. Scorpus
12. Crow_68
13. I Lost My Keays
14. 1990crow
15. Pilchard_Adams

It's a snake draft of course like past years. Interesting that Danger in Texas actually won it from the last position in the draft order last time

When you get past the novelty of pick 1, it kinda sucks.

At least half a dozen options and you’re almost forced to pick conservatively.

Have 1 particular bolster in mind, but it’s probably too risky.

the middle and towards the end of the draft order is better. two top 20 talent compared to just 1. im traditionally a very poor selector anyway. So i will no doubt merely live up to my steller drafting reputation.

Yeah, particularly with how volatile the general top 10 performed players in the comp can be from year-to-year

I dunno, you really want players in AA top ten Brownlow top ten coaches, top bnf, top ratings. I reckon the safer bets for them run about at around 10.

With the 1st pick, The Vontae Mack’s select….

Nick Daicos

Already a 2 time All-Australian, club B&F winner, AFLCA award winner AND beat the previous all time record for most Brownlow votes in a season, all before turning 22.

The obvious choice really, might be the only current top 5 player who (probably) hasn’t hit their peak yet.

I mean, this guys basically a sure thing, right?

RIGHT?!

Is it poor form if I hope he does a knee

Pick 2 - Charlie Curnow (Carlton)

adelaidecrows

I doubt that he will score in the top 20 players in the competition, but I want him as my CHF and I don't expect him to last to 29. Injury interrupted season last year and still came 3rd in the Coleman, made the AA squad.
