And just because they're top draft picks doesn't automatically make them the best.
Most players don't peak until they're 25 or so.

Id say 23 for star mids. Taller bigger bodied mids probably 24-25. The game demands respect and even the best young talent take time. This is what makes Aussie Rules the hardest team sport in the world to play.

You're talking about one top draft, one top 10 and a handful of other talents.
That doesn't remotely equal "best midfield in the AFL".

For comparison, we could have a pick 3, pick 4, pick 6 and pick 8 in our midfield very soon.
Which by draft pick standards is better than Richmond's hand.
