actually i think FIFA are doing some mode where you play as one person the whole game. like the Madden games they have made. should be interesting
I want to play as Ben Cousins and deal with underworld gangstas. Would be a great game.

I also read something about this on another forum, in older games like Kick Off you could do this and it's quite fun, also a computer game called New Star Soccer where you could only play as the one player. I assume it will be FIFA something.. it might just be FIFA 08 or something like that as I am sure it will be incorporated into their next gen game rather than a stand-alone version.
It does sound interesting though and I would definitely give it a crank.

Fifa 06 and Fifa 07 were basically the same. If they brought in the individual player mode, that would be heaps better, and i would defiantly buy it

i think it is in the new fifa and they are only using it for exhibition mode to see how people find it. supposedly there are signals etc. showing you where to run etc.
Dunno if this has been asked before, but looking into the future for AFL 2008... what console will it be on? Surely they can't make another Playstation 2 game? Isn't it time to move to the next generation... or would it be too expensive?

I think FH has said that Next-Gen will most likely be 2 years away if they get the lincese to it, so I guess that would mean 2008 on PS2 with updates and more features, then 2009 with awesome graphics, features galore and what-not.
Nah he has said there wont be an AFL Premiership 2008.

Depending if 07 is any good the AFL should hold off signing them to another term to see if this season is an improvement. They have had 3 years under this engine to get it 'right' and a previous 3 years under the old engine. Still think the 2003 and 04 were the better games, all they needed to do to those games was make it quicker, make the controls more responsive and the ability to bump and tackle properly.
First time i played '06 against another human be it against a person that hasnt played it before and it sure beats playing the computer. Much more exciting to play especially if it is tight which our first game was then the 2nd one a was a thrashing, as experience shined through.
How they took multi-player out of this game is unbelievable.. you're supposed to add not subtract.

Without Multi-Player it might get boring after a while....and also if your mate is over it gets boring either way.

This game will blow, big time. No way is it an improvement with no multiplayer, absolutely terrible decision, what's the reasoning behind it?

You do mean multiplayer in season mode (i.e multiple human controlled teams) don't you???
Multiplayer (as in one-on-one, both on the same side, 3 players, 4 players etc....) IS IN THE GAME.
