I've been calling their demise for the last two years - reckon I've got it right this year.

Just have a look at the number of players over 30 who are in your 22 - 7 players not inc McIntosh with Harry Taylor @ 29 this year. An extremely high number comprising 1/3rd of your team. Guarantee by end of year your performances will drop off.

By that logic Hawthorn should be screwed too.

It's not the over 30s, it's the huge gap in the middle. Geelong has very few players in the 24-28 age bracket, which is what wins flags. Lots of veterans, lots of kids, gaping hole in the middle.
