Is it just me, or has actually being pushed in the back become seemingly no longer a prerequisite for in the back free kicks this year?

Youre allowed to push people in the side when the ball is within 5 m so it doesn’t even matter whether it was before or after.

It was a farcical decision. Same with the supposed hold against Gleeson. Same with the high against Draper. Same with the 50 against Young. Same with the hold against Laverde.

Who wants the umpires influencing the result to the tune of 5 goals ( 4 to dogs 1 to Essendon)
If you make that sort of contact after a kick anywhere on the ground then it's a clear free. You're not allowed to dump a layer after they dispose of the ball. THat's clearly what happened.

Classy. Want a bloke knocked out because of a football game. Your kids must feel safe.

Getting knocked out is a consequence of leading with head and playing for free kicks. You initiate high contact eventually your going get hurt. Umpires need to stop rewarding it and stamp it out.
