I feel like if Carlton lose there’s a lot more hope for them. Sure, disappointment and some heartache but Carlton of 2024 look a pretty daunting prospect. You had a bad patch this year that kept you out of the top 4 but your best is ferocious.

I just think Melbourne will do everything and throw everything at it to scrap a win. Don’t know what else to say.

Lost by around a goal to a Grand Finalist at the MCG in Week 1 of Finals. Then lose by around a goal to an interstate side in the Prelims. Same type of path.

Could easily see them being straight sets out as well. Either way won’t be beating Brisbane next week.
