Jack was never going to play. Kennedy a chance as he has been able to train fully for a month

I believe Kennedy Motlop & Hollands will come in

Sides are even in defence and around the ball. It won't be high scoring at all

For Carlton to win the key will be how we move it inside forward 50. Can't 'bomb' it in. TDK will play deep and Charlie needs to be mobile and push up the ground. Either low to a target or choas ball. Let our smalls go to work and don't allow easy rebounds

Carlton by less than 3 goals

This is probably going to be the toughest result to predict of the whole finals series. I do think that the loser cannot win the flag. ;)

I think this result comes down to the performance of two players and one unknown.

1. Max Gawn - If he is carrying a foot/toe injury and his movement is restricted it spells big problems for the Dees, they won't be able to control the tempo if Max can't cover the ground. I think he is not 100%.

2. Charlie Curnow - If May & Lever cannot control him then he can be the scoreboard difference. A bag of 5 or 6 from CC will be the difference regardless of all the other stats. I think the Dees defence will hold him out and keep him to a couple.

3. Carlton - Huge final for them against a fellow Victoran team on the big stage. They have won 10 or their last 11 I think, been up for a long long time and have shown some signs of tiring in the last few games. Are they just about out of gas or is there still more in the tank. I think they need a servo soon but feel like this will be their last big effort.

I'm leaning towards a Carlton win by a small margin, although I think I voted for a Dees win initially. I may have shifted opinions marginally, it is so close.

Either way it is going to be a bloodbath, a real hard tough contest and the winner will probably not have much left for the Lions next week. Brisbane fans will be licking their lips watching this one unfold.

Blues by 1 point.

Took two marks last time he played us, what makes you think things will be different?

Melbourne are much better than Sydney and Carlton's structures completely collapsed against Sydney.

Thats not really answering the question...

So once your structures collapse again and your players start bombing it long either intentionally or blindly in panic, Max Gawn will be waiting for those kicks and taking the mark. Ya know. Referencing what Gawn did in a H&A match is irrelevant to a sudden death final.

Its all starting to get a bit real now isn't it?

Most scary and difficult aspect to gauge factor for me is that Melbourne will be eager and aggressive from the first bounce, this will be determining factor.
They’ll be inspired , moved by the pain & injustice inflicted on Angus Bradshaw. It will raise the team, Goodwin will probably sit him close to ground level full view.
They’ll be extremely motivated, a scary prospect for any opposition team.
Baggers will go in very hard and tight, it will be close just hope we can get it done. Go Mighty Blues

Not really, I'm just laughing at you. We're fans, nothing is real, we sit there and watch.

Laughter is a good coping mechanism, so whatever works for you

Oddly looking forward to this. And its more then just the fact we will be playing one of these teams next week. Think it will be a cracker. Hoping for some extra time too.

Yes because we have no aerial threats and Melbourne aren't prone to just bombing it long... Lmao

Not a bit mate, we've won 10 out of 11, our structures are going alright.
