I am not sure how Petracca is with his leg/ankle, but that incident with Cox looked extremely painful and could've ended up a lot worse. Then you have Oliver with a knee niggle and Gawn's toe. I would select a team to run them off their feet.

Somewhat, but just feel after such a grim week and the Brayshaw business that we will find something. I could be wrong.

I genuinely hope the Demons will be seething. I would be. You’ve got a guy knocked out cold who’ll potentially retire this off season by a bloke whom plays on the edge and didn’t get a suspension. Rightly or wrongly, I’d be using that as ammo to fire up this week to show what we stand for. We won a flag not two years ago and think that our best can be shown for one week at least.

Melbourne likes congestion and hard footy, I think we will try to force 50/50 contests or win as much as possible whilst changing our forward structure. I’d be expecting magnets to shift.

Feel sorry for Grundy, Im still of the view he is a better forward option than McDonald and with no JVR places a lot of pressure on Smith and Fritsch to step up.
