Commentators have short memories, yes Carlton lost some close games late in the season last year, but they also had a few lucky wins against Hawthorn and port.

Anyway cue the draw haters to come out again and call for extra time, as if draws are a problem.
Absolutely.

And the only reason they were in the top 8 for most of the year was because they didn't play Brisbane or Melbourne until rounds 20 and 21 last year.

It's an absolute glaring deficiency in our sport, that we have no extra-time rule. Bloody stupid. NO-ONE like a draw, especially the players.

Nah bullshit. extra time is a cop-out in games where you don’t need a winner (I.e. progression of finals). If ya can’t win in 4 quarters **** off and do better next week
