Cant win a flag sleeping in our own beds like some we wont mention, so a bit of team bonding on the road as a dress rehearsal is welcomed.
Tell us about it, we don't get a home final regardless of where we finish.

Welcome to the any time, any where squad! :muscle:

That and not knowing how to win a prelim at home since 2007.

Something must have happened soon after that famous 2007 PF victory.

The same thing that has you posting in this thread more than the Sydney/Port one.

Scarlett ruined Westhoff that day. Took him years to recover as a player.

Why wouldn't I like you making a fool of yourself?

The Brisbane wobbles 2019-2023 are far more embarrassing than Geelong 1989-1995 as at least that team were unexpectedly making multiple grand finals and then facing seriously great sides.

Brisbane's next best effort after 2023 is losing a prelim by 40 odd points. In other words, haven't even been close to a grand final besides last year. In a weak era.
Equally as embarrassing as the cats wobbles from 13 to 21 in your favourite term “weak era”

Nothing was weak about the Hawthorn and Richmond sides that knocked us out of finals during that time. This came after a dynasty, rebuilding from the top 4.

Compare that to:

-Scooping up top draft picks, trade ins and gifts for years while being a truly terrible side
-2019 straight sets at home, knocked out by GWS who were THRASHED in the GF
-2020 prelim spanking at home to your so called "choking" Cats
-2021 straight sets at home, knocked out by Bulldogs who were THRASHED in the GF
-2022 prelim evisceration, at least this time by the premiers
-2023 finally a GF! And they even took the lead before a last minute choke.
-2024 becoming favourites for top 2 late in the season before those couple of late game collapses to somehow even miss out on top 4.

I'm actually really glad you made me run the comparison.

Copping strays from a 10 post Western Bulldogs account is a low point Mr Meow.

Haven’t picked De Koning or Hawkins. Now just imagine Daniher kicks a bag and Shannon Neale is shut down. The tactics mastermind couldn’t possibly lose the game at the selection table?
If only we had Biden behind the wheel like you guys.

Hawkins hasn't played in months.

Blicavs and Stanley have held their spots over SDK on merit. The latter was injured at the wrong time.

Excellent selection night.
