Did you not see last year??

They, at this very early stage of the season, seem to have improved.
Yep, they finished 7th and got on a purple patch to end the year.

I just don’t rate them that highly yet, we’ll see how the season plays out.

You would almost prefer a break to an Achilles.

A leg break would be a better outcome.

Honestly if I had to choose between an achilles or a broken leg it would be the broken leg every time.

Achilles for an explosive player like Goater is going to have huge implications on the way he plays going forward.

100%
You are looking at it from the player's perspective, which makes sense to be honest. Achilles would have a lot of implications for an elite sportsperson like Goater. For me though, a bone bending in places it normally shouldn't makes my skin crawl.

Not including the Goater injury, which is devastating, there's lots to feel good about for North in that game.

Can hold our heads high after that.

Any positives for the Roos. Not really. Outscored in every quarter and the scoreboard flattered them as if the Giants had of kicked straighter it would have been ugly. Looking at the crowd numbers only one Roos supporter bothered to show up.

Stupid post

There were a decent amount of North supporters there.

It was a giants home game FFS.

This Callum Brown fella is taking the piss.

Comes over and strolls into the AFL and makes it look easy.

What a talent he is. Huge credit to GWS for identifying him and making it happen.
Strolls?

Spent 4 years on the rookie list.

Spare me the bullshit. Ffs. Where are all Adelaide supporters on the GC right now and they’re a big club that haven’t been down the bottom for 4 years. Concentrate on your potentially super successful and exciting year ahead being an eagles supporter. 🙄

There was a decent amount of Kangas support that turned up today for a club on the smaller end.

I won't be going off internet commentary as it's more or less exaggerated and incorrect.

Hope they do well with their list to become competitive. Their squad had some good bursts today and played until the end and that's all one can really ask from their team.

Relative to kids who play the game growing up it's a stroll. He's played 31 AFL games already.

The whole "rookie list" thing is a list mgt tool these days. They kept him on the RL cos they could and it frees up another spot.
For blokes like Adam Kennedy the Rookie List is a list management tool.

But not in Brown’s case. He is precisely what the RL should be all about.

And to overlook his Gaelic background as a teenager and how hard he has worked to transition to the AFL & using the phrase “strolls in” is disrespectful to him.
