Youd be pulling an extremely long bow to suggest what Watson and Slobbo said is talking the bombers up.

We barely beat a very bad Hawthorn team. No one suggests we are going to accomplish anything of note in 2024.

To be honest past history of these 2 sides says it will be close and Essendon are a massive chance to be heading down the right track with some great young talent but I’m with the other guy. Can’t believe the hysteria in some parts of the media this week after beating a young side that was last year blown up list wise and stripped completely back to bare bones. Hawks could be possibly bottom 2 or 3 come years end. Anyway Swans by 14 points on a slippery dewy surface as per the norm night conditions up there.
