How do you run under the ball when the man in front of him touched the ball. HAHAHAHA.

What on earth are you talking about?

No one said anything about running under the ball.

You’ve been claiming he was blocked , and then in reply to a poster you said he got knocked over cause he was jumping on one leg which goes against the blocked stuff you’ve been banging on about

If you can show me screenshots of someone contacting Dixon when he's running to jump at a ball on the lead then I will admit it's a free.
Blocking frees are usually called when a player is trying to run and jump at the footy as Brown was. I'll await your screenshots.
I asked for screenshots last night and I’m still waiting. Good luck haha

I don't disagree with anything you say in this post, just your old post using free kick numbers as your measure of the standard of umpiring.
You're putting words into my mouth, I never stated the umpiring was fair or high standard. The context I said that was when Port fans were scapegoating umpires, when umpire intervention was utilized almost evenly, which benefited Port, but Port fans somehow use the umpires as an excuse for wasting their own opportunities, such as shanking kicks at goal 10 metres out.

You know it’s not blocking the run if it’s under the ball lol
You did. are you ok?

Lied about Aliir blocking him with just a forearm. Lied about Alliir having eyes on the ball. Lied about Brown running under the ball. Lied about saying you didn't say anything about 'under the ball'. It's either denial or pathological lying at this point. Oh, and failed to provide screenshots on Dixon getting the same treatment.

This is what happens when you say 'Go on I dare you'. You'll get people like me that prove you wrong with screenshots. Focus on next week.

While we are picking out frees and missed ones, Melbourne player went for hanger took out Port player and didn't touch ball at centre half forward, that's the kind of non decision that had port fans arcing up at the blatant one sided umpiring. Overall they did a poor job, but port could have made less errors and won it comfortably, so port need to internally fix what they can control. If afl umpiring dept review that game and are happy, then they're the enablers that keep umpires from improving. Back to port, they gave up 3 goals that went over goal line at chest height, without touching ball, that's just poor craft.

I agree with that. Has been paid for well over 30 years, and 4 umpires didn't see it...

So I said it’s not blocking if someone’s under the ball, and you’ve proved brown was under the ball?

Lololol **** me you’re special.

It’s not a block someone gets to the contest and you’ve just shown brown got to the contest

Dee's saying it was a block need to look at every contest may is in. He looks at hid opponent until the last second and never gets pinged
May gets his eyes on the ball muuuuch earlier. Aliir had no interest in looking at the ball until after he had blocked Brown from jumping. Plus he doesn't do it when the player is jumping for the ball as this is an easy blocking call for the umpire.

Wow wee give it a rest 😂😂

Instead of bitching about umpires maybe port fans can talk about Charlie Dixon's inability to convert basic set shots into goals...happens week after week.

Maybe you could start here and work your way backwards:

We were shithouse last night and didn't deserve to win but anyone who says the umpires didnt influence the outcome are delirious.
when was the last time you saw a 14-3 free kick differential halfway through the 2nd term when the team on the wrong end had scored the first 3 goals and had full momentum?
Some will say we were simply 'undisciplined', yet by mid-way through the 3rd the count had evened up and we again held a 3-goal margin, apparently, we weren't as undisciplined during that period of the game.
Go figure.

And on the subject of free kick differential, when was the last time this was raised in a game between a non-Vic club and a Vic club, and the Vic club was on the wrong end of it?

Pretty ironic giving the biggest flopper and flailer for free kicks in the league is Ben Brown which was the only glaring bad free kick of the match.

If he hadn’t been playing for free kicks for 10 years it wouldn’t have been so obvious but it was the same as the 100+ free kicks he staged for at North that got him that disgusting goal.
Do you mean the one where Aliir blatantly took his eyes off the ball and bumped him out of the contest? That's the call you're sooking about?

If umpiring like last night was the difference, then you simply weren’t good enough. It’s not like it was as one-sided as St Kilda vs Collingwood, Port Adelaide vs Richmond, and North Melbourne vs Carlton this year. Port just couldn’t capitalise on their opportunities, and Melbourne did. Seems like that’s the gap between the two sides.
I thought we got a good run with the umps but by that I don't mean we were favoured - just that we weren't subject to the home town umpiring we usually cop interstate. Many of those calls where you look and say they were there but you can see why they do t get paid, were paid. The glaring one was the non-holding the ball call in the last just before I think Sparrows goal but that was made up for by the Port frees when players ducked/dropped the knees and the non-50s (Gawn should've been paid a 50 in the 1st and there was another one I can't recall).

We had a good run early but by the end of the game it was 24-25 and Port has 6 frees inside 50 to our 3. The sooking on here is laughable.

What about Rioli being paid the mark while sitting in the terraces, were they arcing up about that?

Aliir blatantly blocked Brown out of the contest, he braced in a hip and shoulder position and bumped him out I can't believe anyone is even disputing this.
