Don't be shame, discuss the game!

Hawthorn have a good record vs the Crows at Adelaide Oval (5-1 I think) and were unlucky to lose vs Port last time. Should win by about 20pts. We cannot make the finals but hopefully they will underestimate us.

Thilthorpe is a massive in vs the last game between these sides. If he can kick 5 like in his debut game against Hawthorn, Crows should get up.

Otherwise Hawks by 10

Crows looked good against the Dons, so I certainly hope we don’t underestimate them. Hawthorn have the better form line, but are still a work in progress. Should be a cracker, hoping for us to win by around 3 goals

With Dawson out, Hawks should be able to dominate clearance and control the tempo of the match.

Hawks by 30

Eh, if anything, Adelaide are probably better off at clearances with Dawson out. Not terrible at it by any stretch, but it isn't his one wood. The value is around the ground, and missing both him and Rankine is going to be a big blow against a unit who defends transition well.

Hawks really good to watch at the moment.

Will be way too quick for us & we have a few out, so reckon Hawks by 5 goals.

Curtin appears to be coming in for Dawson this week and will play midfield. Has been playing as a full time mid the last 3 weeks in the sanfl and was voted 2nd best player on the ground by the coaches last week.

Likely Borlase for Butts (maybe Worrell, but could see them being cautious and putting him through sanfl after a long injury layoff)

Tex for Himmelberg

We don’t have Dawson or Rankine, but certainly getting towards our strongest team of the season. Should be a good contest.

Strongest team without our best 2 players Rankine & Dawson... & missing our best 3 tall defenders Murray, Butts & Worrell (I doubt we will rush him back in)... & no Crouch & Milera.

Probably should have said better balanced, but yes agree can't be the strongest when missing our two best players and 3 best defenders (although Worrell might play this week).

Hawks playing with maximum confidence, all players well aware this is a MUST win to have a chance at making the 8.

I would be astonished if we dropped this game, and that's not taking anything away from Adelaide. They're on their way with their rebuild, but if we were missing 2 of our best players I wouldn't expect us to win either.

Hawks by 30.

Actually missing 3 of our best, Nick Murray has been our best defender before he did his knee. Was starting to show form last week before he went down.
