Is it really a danger game at this point though with our injuries?

I don’t think Richmond losing this game is an unexpected. Even West Coast players/coaches know that this is a winnable game for them. Richmond’s favourites, but it’s only, like, $1.44. Not like Geelong’s $1.03 against North Melbourne
I also think, a danger of what? Losing a game? Who cares, we're playing for development and draft picks at this stage, a loss today if anything just gets us a better pick come end of year when Eagles, Tigers, Hawks, North are likely shuffling around the bottom 4 positions.

It's not a danger game because there's really no tangible impact if we win or lose.

That's not what the bookies and pundits reckon!!! Having said that for the first time in 2 years the coasters are almost full strength bar 2 or 3.
We're a chance

Geewizz, that's both defeatist and advance rationalizing a loss!

A win on the road for a depleted and young side would be extremely positive and feed into the growing team spirit being developed in recent weeks.

Thank goodness you're not in the coaching group, or running the club :)

Tad early to give up on the season

I've said it could go either way, I'm not rationalising a loss.

What I'm saying is it's not a "danger game" , it's not a game where if we lose one we should win we slip out of top 4 or the 8.

W/L/D this makes no tangible difference to us. "Spirit building" wins might be a sugar hit, but what we need for long term success is beyond today's result which in isolation doesn't matter.

Your last paragraph is absolute garbage. Team building is everything, in a ....... team sport. Duh.

So you would rather lose than have some belief distilled into your kids coming through that they deserve to be playing at this level and can beat teams.

Winning now is just not real important to you it seems and just a sugar hit apparently and what a terrible attitude to have when you have some good kids out there.

I wouldn't "rather lose". Didn't say that.... but I don't overvalue a win or overreact to a loss either today.

Can we have Vlaustin if you wanna go full tank mode??

Honestly think the AFL need to intervene at the Eagles and have an Administration period.

Sack the Board and coach. Bring in temporary administrators from outside. Then start again with fresh Board appointments. A complete but orderly transition.

It's no longer just about them being shit.

It's become a competition wide integrity issue. The draw is entirely compromised because they aren't even slightly competitive.

The people running the club have got to go.

Finished last season with a % of 53.

Currently a % of 47.

I mean this is unprecedented . No team has been this bad for this long.

These are diabolical numbers.
