In both games last year, Richmond led Melbourne by around 25 points in the second quarter. Richmond lost both games by a combined 50 points.
Just a fun fact.
Reckon the tiges will keep it close for a fair portion of the game.
That's not fun at all.
Demons will win by more goals than Ben Brown possessions.
We'll probably play him back into form.

For anyone interested here is the link below to Monday nights live show taking a look at this game.

Full disclosure it is a Richmond based Pod so if our knowledge / views of opposition players aren't A+++ that's why, however we do make an effort to be unbiased in our previews.

Dees Preview from 32:08 - we got a bit side tracked at the 41 min mark

Topics covered:
-Welcome to everyone
-Richmond redevelopment additional cost, club asking members to chip in.
-Liam Baker & Dustin Martin movements
-Would you do the trade?
-Preview of Melbourne game.

Otherwise you can view it below:

IF they are, they should easily account for the Lions. They didn't.
We have a lonng way to go.
You wot mate? Easily account for the team that came second on the ladder, lost the GF by less than a kick, after 3 games in 13 days?

Of the possible ins, Hopper replacing one of the mids will improve us in the short term,
Ryan replacing Kosi I think is an upgrade, but I don't even back the match committee to make that call.

Bringing Grimes in for someone, I'm not actually sure that improves us man for man, but it would help in terms of structural leadership and match experience.

Even with that, if Demons are a serious finals side, which they probably are, they should be beating an undermanned rebuilding side like us quite comfortably. We're genuine bottom 3 with the team we will roll out on Wednesday.
Agreed. This game we should be winning by 50+ when it comes to your outs and where you guys currently are in your rebuild. In saying that.. tigers by 15 😂

Van Rooyan and Petty to have their one good game of the season against us again, the media will go on about how Melbourne have solved their forward problems and are flag favourites.

We have absolutely no chance of going close here. Every long kick is going to be marked by May or Lever. We may start well again when we can run the ball, but will hit the wall earlier than last seasons 2 games. Could get ugly.

Really look forward to this game and honouring some of our true heroes.

We've had some great clashes with Richmond over the years, enjoy the way they play but we should be able to take care of this one.

There's not enough war stuff in the ANZAC games anymore, it ruins the enjoyment of the whole thing. The trumpet is a nice touch and all the mobile phone lights are very pretty before the game but they need to do more IMO.

I want to see cannons firing after every goal, an army band at half-time, jets flying over the stadium in the pre-game warm up.
The coin toss should be replaced with a game of two up.

Instead of using the regular goal flags, the umpires should be waving bayonets with a stuffed boxing kangaroo tied at the end. Replace the lukewarm chips with fresh golden brown ANZAC cookies.

Would help a lot IMO.

OMG I never noticed that before, now I’m obsessed staring at it.
Just a friendly reminder that this thread is for serious football discussion onl… OMG YOU GUYS ARE RIGHT IT DEFINITELY BLINKED

What sort of sorcery is this??

Demons’ forward line is pretty ordinary, but I won’t be surprised if they get off the leash.

Still, I don’t see them scoring more than 80 to 100 points, while we should score around 60 to 80.

Is it wrong to already be on my third beer at 4.30? Bent Spoke…I won’t buy it again.
Fritsch is a gun. Could cause some damage.

3 beers by 4:30 is perfectly acceptable. Skull the rest of your posh craft beers and move on to the bourbons.
