Good to see thw senior players leading the way with no tackles.
Because Essendon’s strategy for years has been paying over the odds for bog average players. It’s why Dodoro is a laughing stock amongst other fan bases. It’s a ludicrous strategy when basically every other premiership team in recent memory has been built through the draft and only augmented by trades or free agents.
I like a few Essendon players, but I’ve said this on other threads - pick a best 22 from the comp, then a second 22. How many Essendon players are in it? I’d be surprised if there are more than two players across both teams.

I don't know how many games Jake Kelly has played but he has to be the worst player that has played that many. Not sure what he does well. Not a good defender, doesn't intercept, can not use it
I’ve got a preseason bet on the lions for the flag but I’m close to burning it. They’re not a serious team.
Even if their defense looked ok (which it doesn’t), their complete lack of an ability to score properly would be a massive concern.
