In all fairness, he went in for a bump and had no intention of taking his head off. you can see in the replays that he went in for the bump precisely as Moore dropped in elevation.
Unfortunately for him the AFL will suspend him but that's the risk you take going in for the bump and not playing the ball.

Do yourself a favour. DO NOT listen to any AFL media coverage. You will not regret it.
We all love footy but FMD a game is covered in an absolutely amateur manner with too many yes men towing the company/AFL/woke line. It's deplorable.

The AFL are saying if you elect to bump, you're responsble for the consequences. Same premise for both. If Houston gets suspended, so does Pickett. He can't use the fact that Moore lowered as he went in for the bump. It will be said that he had to be more aware.
As for the penalty. I'm not sure. I don't think Dan will be the last to miss a final.
