The worst bit about the bad umpiring is that the Port players can no loner play with any confidence, while the Hawks can play with impunity.

People will say: well sure Port got some bad calls, but Hawthorn was also playing better. But Hawthorn has been playing better precisely because of the terrible calls. They were playing like crap into the umpires piped up for them.
