I think it should affect all games, including saved - JNT BA please ask the team tomorrow for confirmation.Definitely harder to score set shots and goals on the run now.
Enjoyed it!
Online games are still buggy and hard to play.
BigAntStudios the one thing I wasn't sure on is if the wind element takes effect in pre existing saved files, I launched my existing richmond career and didn't notice any wind on the ground. Started a new career and noticed it in the practice game.
Overly easy scoring needed to be fixed… I’d say that was fairly important.Glad to see we're focusing on the important stuff.
There wouldnt be a NDA for a delay in shipping, surely people dont actually believe that rubbish explanation.If it was a disc manufacturing issue or shipment issue it’s been almost 8 weeks now you would have thought that an updated eta would be provided.
Easy to draw conclusions when the game is in its current state that Microsoft are knocking it back…
Agree, goal kicking was a major problem that has been fixed. I think some are just ignorant to the fact that the game is slowly getting better.cmon mate give it a rest.
Agreed. But pointless trying with some people.cmon mate give it a rest.
I reckon everything is patched in completed order (what gets finished first). If something (like the aesthetics side of things, hair/footy’s etc) gets finished/fixed ahead of something else then that would be pushed out first. People have to remember that some people (artists) work on totally different things like aesthetics, which is totally separate to gameplay.Overly easy scoring needed to be fixed… I’d say that was fairly important.
The hair styles and footy are aesthetics that artists would’ve worked on… so I doubt any/much Dev time was lost from other work.
It's just kinda the long road we're on right now.
Yes but most of these things should have already been created well before the original launch or at least in the past month unless they honestly had no intention of releasing a fully fledged game.It takes time to create and fix things and that is perhaps something various people don't want to give at this point.
You know what, I will agree on one thing here.Watching Michaels stream last night and yeah goal kicking has become harder but we still have:
- Erratic handballs;
- Marks (speccy’s in particular) and frees being play-on;
- Teleporting;
- AI players deciding to play-on for you;
- Stab kicks going off in a random direction;
- Players getting tackled and dropping the ball (incorrect disposal) but it being play-on;
- Accuracy of kicks at goal while being tackled is OP;
- Online needs a huge amount of work before Pro Teams is released.
Like I said yesterday, I wish these things were prioritised over goal kicking when they are ongoing and make the game a chore and frustrating to play.
I think I’m about done with this game. Radio silence on features that should have already been implemented and we were told would patched in and no finished product in sight.
Correct and I’ve said it before. Don’t say something is imminent, not release it, ignore repeated questions about it and than just say “I’ve got nothing else to say about it”.People would be more accepting of the time being taken to correct the game if there was more communication. Am I right?

Hard to see from my screenshot, but it looks like a crosshair approaching a line (and wind indicator shown too).
Also noticed that surrounding teammates have the meter show up too.
What bugs have they fixed from what you can tell? That's a positive atleastGood patch!! Fixed quite a few bugs as well, but the flow of the gameplay is quite nice now.

Same boat as you there - would be good for one level headed poster in this thread, eg. Michaels, to collate the top 10 questions/features we're asking about in here, get it to Ross and JNT, and they can reply with a "it's in the pipeline for release soon (don't give timelines because posters in here can't handle that if it goes south), it's on the "maybe later list", not gonna happen etc.". Post it in here - that will at least silence a lot of the "where is xxxxxx" folk. A lot of the anger is just simply not even knowing if these things are in scope/being looked atYou know what, I will agree on one thing here.
I know I’m not popular here but I do agree with a lot of you on the radio silence thing.
I do believe this is where a lot of the frustration is coming from within this thread. People would be more accepting of the time being taken to correct the game if there was more communication. Am I right?
Edit: I don’t even think people expect every single detail in every answer to every question. But some basic answers on ETA of features or even what’s holding them back I think would help some of the frustration.
I agree. Someone to make a list, take some suggestions from the crew here and submit it to Ross in a formal way rather than just in here and see if we can get some basic clarity around the big questions.Same boat as you there - would be good for one level headed poster in this thread, eg.
