I've only ever had positive interactions with Ross and the team. I've submitted tickets and for the most part they have replied fair quickly. Saying that, I am not so hung up on tactics. I'v also tried to make a conscienous effort to firstly 1) buy the game. 2) wait patiently for patches 3) Continue to wati for XBox. 4) Create custom content in Academy for others to share as they wish.

On the otherside, I wonder if we would be seeing half of the negative comments in this "chat forum" if Ross wasnt here, hence only making the volume of negativity to "s@&t stir" Ross rather than actually being constructive towards the benefit of the game...especially given some dont even have the game. Cheap shots!

I don't believe that people are just doing it to shit stir Ross. People are pissed off they paid money for a product that was promoted as being something that it isn't. The game was heavily promoted around Pro Team and being the most authentic AFL experience yet and the most in depth management mode. Those features that were promoted to sell the game haven't delivered and at this stage people still don't know when.

For me the game isn't as broken as you claim. Sure, there would be negative comments either way, but you seem really keen to talk in black and white whereas grey might be more appropriate. Saying that you couldn't credibly nuance an opinion about a game that you don't play.

The problem has been that once he's answered one thing... it's then asked about every single day from that point.... along with everyone else's own queries.

I too would like to know when each feature is coming.... but I'm not part of the dev team... I normally wouldn't get any information at all about that....
So I'm thankful for the tidbits I do get... like Ross replying about the new in-play goal kicking meter.
Because he answered that one post... I don't them hold him accountable to answer every other question I have, nor crack it if he doesn't agree or like my other posts.

Well I think as paying customers you have a right to expect features that were promised at launch. If I bought a car and it arrived without 10 extras I paid for, and then the dealer refused to answer any questions about one of said extras for 2 weeks, id be pretty annoyed.

Pre release I was completely in agreement that we weren't owed anything and we'd have full access to the features we'd seen nothing about once the game was released. It's now a month on from that and still many features are missing with no clarity on when they're coming.

We have every right to be frustrated and to express said frustration on the thread relating to the game.

I'd argue the reason we have 3 threads now is because of how the release and pre release was handled, not blame the way posters have responded to that.

I would argue some of the stuff on here isn't particularly constrctuive. Sure people have a right to complain about the fact the car wasn't finished, but where is the line?

You're so hooked up on me not buying the game mate. I have two eyes which allow me to see that it is broken. It let's me see that the advertised features are still not in the game.

I can also clearly see that whilst you may be happy with a half baked game many others aren't. I don't care if you hold that opinion. Good for you. You're entitled to it, just as I am mine.

The game looks great and it’s slowly but surely coming along in terms of gameplay.

But my god there is no depth in management mode and the fact that ‘hardest’ is the same as ‘easiest’ just makes me lose interest more and more…break one tackle and I can run into goals with every opposition player running away or into the crowd?

Struggling to stay interested in this game at the moment.

Ross said in that post when the game was bedded down all the modes would be added in a couple of days then focus on pro team, nothing about Xbox at all. It is just confusing about what modes were being added to the game in those days as the feedback around here seems to suggest management mode is still bare and unplayable.

It’s been a disaster, a shameful release. Hasn’t even been cleared to release on Xbox due to the state of it.

The game has potential but it’s obviously been a balls up. Consumers are allowed to have their say. Move on if you don’t like it

Maybe some would but credit where its due , chuck on Cricket 22 or Ashes Cricket their recent cricket games they are mint, they look, sound , feel and play good. Yes there are small issues graphically where the ball goes through the players pads or legs for fielding etc but it is on the minor scale in the scheme of it. They have done incredible stuff for that franchise and the academy is next to none it is awesome.

The bar was set high for AFL and of course it was going to take time I just don't think people expected to be playing bare bones games for a month or longer, I think if the management mode had some depth to it , people might be able to overlook the odd dodgey handball, animation freeze etc but essentially right now people have paid 80-100 bucks to basically be doing training drills and playing around with the academy...

I have said numerous times that I will be buying the game but BigAnt wont be getting a cent of my money for it. When/If its fixed I'll grab a copy from the marketplace.

I would have bought the game no matter what if Ross hadn't doxxed me. I hate cricket but have bought them all, I bought their lacrosse game all in an attempt to support his company. The contempt he has shown for his customers in this thread was a real eye opener so they will no longer get a cent from me. Despite his popular belief this has nothing to do with some grudge I'm apparently holding for not getting a job there.

When it's delivered, or clear timelines are given for delivery? Probably stops a lot of the nagging and bagging.
