AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
He should probably be stood down as well, as Stephen Milne was in a similar case. Very different case here though, we have grown man & very young children & more than one incident, if it were in the AFL no club would touch that kind of publicity. Where's there's smoke there's fire. Was the junior committee consulted for their thoughts on the matter? Thanks for your opinion CCL. Your thoughts on Majak Daw's predicament & the position taken by the North Melbourne AFC as well as the AFL heirarchy on the issue.
Anyway, I will leave that with your club now, you will have to deal with it, my thoughts are pretty clear. Knowing our luck, he will kick 6 and win the game for you this week. Should be a good match, both sides on the improve. Thanks for your opinion CCL. Your thoughts on Majak Daw's predicament & the position taken by the North Melbourne AFC as well as the AFL heirarchy on the issue.

And Flintstone. When he's found guilty and its two late ???CCL I have very strong opinions about people who touch or harm kids, especially mine. I have two boys that play at Hawks one of which plays in the reserves and may get another gong in seniors. If I thought for one minute that they weren't safe I would say so and remove them from the club. I'm more than sure that the current committee etc have taken this all into account (and if they haven't they're bloody stupid) before making their decision. Correct me if I'm wrong, but has Boxsell been proclaimed as guilty of the charge? No he hasn't. I therefore wouldn't be going on this forum and casting aspersions about someone that hasn't been proved one way or the other particularly on a matter such as this. These are very serious charges, none of which should be discussed on here.
The league should step in here and draw the line and ban him not a good look for cairns football having a known sexual predator playing in the league! And Flintstone. When he's found guilty and its two late ???

Tamba..... You sold your house to dig the club out of financial debt?
Heard all payments have been suspended................... Who is going to pay for Smiths pies now, his crap ink and i was going to add in his hair cut as an expense..... but sure even stevie wonder could pull together and produce a better trim on Smiths head than the what he usually 'rolls' with on a Saturday, he cant be paying for that lol
You can keep trying to re-assure yourself but the fact is Hawks have gone from once proud flag contender to club of last resort with this move. Hawks have put the chance of pinching a few wins above what should have been an easy decision to pass on playing a clearly undesireable individual. I spoke to a young hawks senior player & his dad during the week & they had no idea about any of this, so its clear the playing group and the junior committee was not consulted. As Ive said, its wrong, whichever way you choose to spin it.CCL I have very strong opinions about people who touch or harm kids, especially mine. Anyway, on the subject of this week's footy.
The Kiss of death for this round -
Lions V Hawks - With Brennan back for another cameo this week I'm guessing the Lions will lift. However I'm sure the young Hawks will give a good account of themselves. Lions to win but only just.
Norths V Port - I think Port can win this one away from home.
Centrals V Saints - With the recent rain the wallaby terds should be nice and soft. Walshy to come back this week and kick at least 10.
"Magistrate John O’Callaghan released Boxsell on bail even though the court was told he is wanted for questioning in Tasmania on a matter dating back to 2008 and relating to girls as young as six"
Sounds like a real stand up type guy. Is it true he left Port after last season after being on a drug fuelled bender, he bashed up 2 fellow players without provocation?
Would definitely like this guy at my club, good by hawks.

I didn't think much of the 3 Tas recruits, not worth the coin they are getting on that showing..
Think these blokes are going OK, All 3 of them playing Rep football this season, Tim Lamprill 4th on the goal kicking table ( missed 1 game ) Jack Philip been named in best players 6 of the 12 games plus a rep game. Ryan Fielding played in the rep game as well. The stats don't lie
Hey Guys. Query from the Goldfields Footy League in WA.
What were the circumstances behind a couple of blokes in your league coming out this way? Fallout with clubs over there or just chasing more coin??
Talking about Luke Powell and Chris Adams.
Powell went to Kambalda and looks like he's already rubbing the coach (who also happens to be the top cop in town) up the wrong way. Has been dropped couple of times apparently for being stupid on the sauce!!
And then there's the perennial club s!ut in Chris Adams who's rocked up at the 11th hour at Railways. In a five team comp, this is the third club this guy has been to in our league after stints at Boulder and Kambalda previously. Has a huge reputation over here for the wrong reasons and we're surprised a professional outfit like Railways is even interested!!
Somebody needs to check all-time football records. Has any player had more clubs than Chris Adams. Doubt he's left one on good terms either.
