not sure about Ainslie youth....many would have been annoyed over the years with their recruiting policies and left
Not to many juniors left @ the moment. Alot of the U/18's left this year after their coach was sacked half way through the year. There was a vote when the coach was sacked and the majority of kids voted to pull then pin for the rest of the year. Fortunately assisatnt coaches Paul Grayling and Nathan Greatz convinced the kids to atleast play out the rest of the season, however most of those kids won't be running around with Ainslie this year.

Add these players to 4 or 5 juniors that had graduated from the U/18s over the past couple of years that have joined other Canberra clubs or stopped playing all together

And correct about Ainslie reserves; In early January they flagged to the league that they may not be able to feild a reserves side due to a massive lack of numbers. They have since dropped their District division team and 3quaters of the thirds team will play reserves. It will be interesting to see how their depth of players will go during the season?

Can anyone tell me what East Lakes are going to be like this year? Heard they came 3rd last year, they going to improve again?

Oh how the once mighty have fallen, who would have thought that Ainslie would be in the situation that they see themselves in now!! Hard to feel sorry for them either after they rorted the system with a big fat pay check for decades.:D Still not a good sign for the competition to lose Wagga in 1sts and 2nds, The Creek in 2nds and have Ainlie in turmoil!!

heard they recruited Cooper from Ainslie (former Mulrooney medalist) and Aaron Rogers from Glenelg (former Swans / Melbourne) They will be ok and are favourites this year after the Swans have been restricted to how many listed players can play. :thumbsu:

who won the Qbn v Tuggers game

Tuggers got up by about 4 or 5 goals. QBN didn't play anywhere near a full stength a team and played alot of guys out of position.

Tuggers put on a pretty good performance though, they are a fit and quick side, however it will be hard to see them finishing in the top four at the business end of the season.

Did Mark Powell play for QBN and if so how did he go and how is his pre season going? hopefully no more injuries.

cheers

From what i understand they sacked Cloke for getting his fingers caught in the till ............

Thats right, plus the bloke couldnt coach a fish to water. When he left ainslie he went to Port melb, got the sack afetr one year then went to the southern league and got the sack there....mmmmmis there any common thread here?

Mate Ainslie are on the skids for sure, Muir (shrek 2) and his committee couldnt find their backside with their hands and a map. The players that left were treated so badly by the committee, they really had no choice. Pulford the club games new record holder would not have gone to Qbn if everything was alright. It was ridiculous how they treated Pulford, it is no wonder he was snapped up by the Tigers. Not only did the playes leave, but most if not all their long standing volunteers several who were life memebers walked out.

Until Ainslie change their management and committee the club will never be the same, and many of the club stalwarts will never return.
