Geez the Swans dropping two of the first three games, big call but for some reason I think you may be on the money, with Belco and Qbn the other likely winners. Will be interesting to see how Eastlake perform and respond to the finals hiding of last year. Wanting Tuggers to be ultra competitive at least, a win a bonus for them and the comp

Belco, Qbn, Swans - comfortably-ish!

Good calling ABH. THEY OBVIOUSLY PLAYED BETTER OVER YOUR WAY THIS WEEKEND. If 12 goals is comfortably-ish you judged it well. Where too for Eastlake now. They have been beaten the last 3 times by your team. The last two times thrashed comprehensively!

Tigers were very impressive today, they pressured Eastlake all over the ground, their foot skills were very good and the work load was shared evenly across the board. The willingness to do the hard, team things was the major reason for the victory. Excellent team effort by the boys.

Eastlake were poor. Very poor infact. Skills, desire, commitment were all below par. They lacked a forward line structure and most importantly lacked leadership. I still cant believe a player of Nathan Clarkes ability continues to want to sit loose across half back collecting easy stats. He is the leader of the group and should set the example for his team mates by playing in the middle where the game is won and lost and earn a couple of hard balls. If he doesnt start to set that example how can he expect the playing group to follow.

Eastlake - Poor game plan, poor skills, poor forward line structure = poor coaching!

Belco far tooooo strong for the Tugggers today. They were great all over Greenway Oval. We are back on track no doubt. Strong on ball division. We will account for Qnbo next week with ease.

Just wondering Racehorse. Your quote above about your team suggests - after all the shiiiit you put on Qnbo last week when claiming to be a supporter of theirs - now indicates your not.

I think your a frustrated non coach ! So what are your thoughts of your observations of Qnbo this week with their " comprehensive win" ? You had a lot to say about them last week, so I would be interested in hearing your words of wisdom this week seeing we play them on Anzac Day in the next round !!!

Oh yeh, here we go....What a SHOCK!!
The "Dicks of the North" have a win and out you come....so predictable FIM.
Bet the rest of your hibernating buddies jump out of the closet this week as well.
I continually just shake my head at you lot.

Surely his players must notice that, everybody else has

FIM They deserved the comments of last week FIM. Wasnt at their game yesterday, was watching my team versus yours at Greenways. Do know that the QBYN team now has recent history against Eastlake (last three times) want to hope for your sake that history is not going to repeat itself with the Northerners. Should be a good battle fitting of an Anzac day clash. As for being a frustrated non coach, how do you know I am not a frustrated non player.

Who cares - all you did was put shiiit on your own team for a week - and then couldnt be bothered attending their match against the Demons. Sounds like sour grapes to me Racehorse !!!!

So the Swans were beaten again today. Well done to Ainslie. Seems the League has brought a bit of respectability back to the comp with their restrictions on the Sydneysiders. Swans have injuries and suspensions at senior level. Look out for the team who takes them on in Sydney when they have a full list !

Not sure what is going on with the Jets - Gbanger can you shed any light?

My mob are 0-3 as well - not the start to the season we were expecting.

Hopefully the boys will rack up the first win of the year against Harman on Thursday night at Greenway!

Don't really see how you can claim it brings 'respectability' back to the league? It's just unfortunate that the injuries and suspensions have hit now.

Unfortunate???
Welcome to what all the teams here had to put up with for 3 years while the Swans had a list of 48 fulltimers available 95% of the time.

Great result Ainslie and well done at AFL Canberra and the Swans for coming up with the best of both worlds for the two mobs.Thank God as with WC out we would have had nothing.

Swans players in the ressies will not go backwards having to work a lot harder and at least their rookies will get more exposure this way instead of being disgarded at the end of the year after sitting on the bench or playing back in a side winning by 20 goals. It always amazed me in recent years that if the Swans were looking at developing flexibility in their future players that they didn't rotate their players more when winning by heaps. Guess they were really trying to win after all.

In fact more Swans players will sit on the bench now due to the restrictions.

And I'm not sure what you mean by that last 2 sentences. Seems you're trying to advocate that the Swans bring in the top-up players when they were winning by heaps to try and bring the margin down. Makes very little sense as they would want their listed players to have the most game time.

The thing I've always wondered was if the Swans had kept winning, would more restrictions have come into play? Perhaps in 2012 we would see a team of top-ups with 6 Swans to run around but only allowed to kick with their non-preferred foot.

Whats the point in the listed players running around in a 100 point thrashing they might as well put cones down and have a drill. However top ups would greatly benefit from more game time.Remembering that untill this year the top ups were Sydney based and selected one would think with a view to the future. So sitting on the pine whilst listeds run riot not that good for anyone.Just pleasing to see that the comp seems to have levelled out a little time will tell when all swans injuries have subsided and we get a true indication of where they are.Injuries are something we all need to deal with but we also know that they can be managed in small bouts,Swans seem to have got them all at once, this doesn't help.

That wasn't what I was getting at.They had listed players on the bench and listed players sitting all day in the backline when winning by 20.They hardly needed top ups and in fact listed players missed matches because they has a full squad to pick from.

I find the whinging about the restrictions incredible.Last year it was about how weak this comp. was and we need to go to the VFL etc. Get real, we are doing the Swans a favour by having them in and if you talk to their staff they prefer the closer matches.

Here here porkhead other than some good games and the chance to occassionally see some real AFL stars play they don't give much to the comp.Looking at the paper today arrogance is a word that could be used, they expect spida to play next week and left him on the bench for the full second half, same chance to get injured here as it is in the big leagues.Said himself he wanted to go back on and play, hopefully all clubs get the same opportunity to make them pay for regarding the comp as second class and only used for giving young players somewhere to play. They say this isn't the case but give us a break why wouldn't you play him for at least the three quarters if he is expected to play next week. They felt they had Ainslie covered and used the bench accordingly good on Ainslie.

Spot on Porkhead. Will also keep their coaching staff on their toes and they will have to work hard to win games with less experienced players taking on more responsibility. Good for the Swans long term and good for our comp short term

So Racehorse, which game are we watching this weekend. Just so we know what expert comments you have to make. I would assume you will be at the Qnbo v Belco given your all your wisdom and knowledge of what Belco is like to your Qnbo mates seeing your witnessed the (so you say) Tuggers v Belco match the last Saturday ! Or are we not available this Friday due to you marching in the Anzac Pde !!

as one who has disagreed with you on the swans board, your last post was spot on.
the swans winning by 20 goals meant nothing with rookies sitting on the bench not getting a go.
so porkhead who do you support?

Just for the record FIM, I happen to follow Tuggeranong. I will be at there game as I was last week and the week before. My observations and comments in relation to Queanbeyan were both correct and warranted. They were a grand finalist from last year and I believed they played poorly. It is an opinion and I am led to believe that this is the place to present them.
