Mitch Szybkowski is interesting . He is a big unit but tends to get a lot of possessions from handball receives or running into space rather than inside work. He has a decent tank and good footy IQ . What he seems to do is read the game really well and find space to work in. Skills good enough and can tackle.

I dont mind that. We have mids at the coalface. Wouldnt mind someone with the iq to hang off the congestion and have a bigger presence outside. One reason im not too bothered with tsatas either.

IMO outside players need to work very hard both ways or be so damaging they force the opposition number to setup to contain them.

Tsatas sounds like he doesn't work hard enough both ways, is he damaging enough to offset it? In a side that already lacks a sufficient number of players that work hard both ways?

I assume they've got some plans in place.

My guess?

They've lined up a 22 + <something> for a pick in the mid to late teens (e.g. from Sydney or GWS) if there's a player available they like and the Davey bid hasn't come in yet.

They've also lined up a trade for 22 to go out for an F2 from another club if the Davey bid comes really early.

Probably with a 40's/50's pick back.

Suspect its trade out and into '23.
Short of trading up quite sharp for phillipou or humphrey, i think the plan would be hope 22 stays active, if not then trade.

Havent seen many links or trade rumours of who we might be looking to trade up for.

I think it depends. If we do trade back with someone like St. Kilda with their F1 included then I can see us being more aggressive with pick 22 and our F2.
