Hollands?

So with Walla signing on that means we have 4 list spots.

From a drafting prospective, that means one of Pick 4, Pick 22, A.Davey, J.Davey or Munkara are not happening (assuming we don't just draft Davey with Pick 22).

So essentially
1. Pick 22 is gonna get traded for future picks and maybe some more points late this year; or
2. If we are interested in using Pick 22 (one someone other than A.Davey), then we are only interested in Munkara if he slide completely out of the draft and we can list him as a Cat B rookie.
I think they are looking at using pick 4 , Davey x 2 and Munkara if available. I suspect 22 is going to be the Alwyn JNR pick even if a bid comes in a few spots earlier. They are looking at 4 spots by the looks of it .

Your research is worth two fifths of * all when you’re basing it on clubs like gws who have a horde of picks and continue to stack them year over year. Do you look at the epl and wonder why all clubs can’t money launder cough I mean transfer like man city?

GWS are a massive outlier and anyone using them as an example are either naive or stupid, which is it?

St kiilda are not offering a potential top 4 pick next year for a 6 pick upgrade (and especially not for the best of the rest after the top 3 lol), it would be nice if trades that are continually brought up here at looked at from both sides.

I also don’t know why you keep saying if st kilda want this they have to pay up, it’s your scenario based on gws trading, it’s not actually legit and It would be one of the dumbest trades I’ve ever seen.
Pretty easy to understand. If you want to get into the top 5 you are going to pay a price. The amount of picks GWS have had is neither here or there.
If the Saints are really keen on someone this year then they will pay the price. I do not know if they are or not . Most likely not but if they really do want someone it will cost them. Same as it has other clubs.

The whole thing about St Kilda trading up is prevalent on the fact that there's a player they want that's unlikely to get past Gold Coast or Hawthorne, which is rumoured to be the case with Elijah Tsatas.

To trade up to our pick, as one of the only clubs that have said we're open to it, they have to satisfy us in a trade.

Given that, there is no way in that scenario they ask for more than a future 3rd round pick in return. The market has already shown what is necessary to move into the top 5. Two first round picks. Even last year's cost from moving from 14 to 12 cost a future second. Yet you seem to think moving 5 picks to get into the top 5 should be less.

And the entire year, there has been a clear cut top 5, which you seem to want to ignore because it doesn't suit your argument.

When the law is on your side, argue the law.
When the facts are on your side, argue the facts.
When neither are on your side, wave your arms around and shout, then hope nobody notices.

I'm doing two, you're doing one. And guess what, everyone has noticed.

St Kilda is not a bottom 8 side next year.

I think they are. Not bad by any stretch but the competition is so ever and I think they lack a bit of class.

I’d still trade for Tsatas if I was them. They have never needed a player more. He’s perfect for them and they need to get a wriggle on to compete while they have a prime Steele who is made for finals.

Alwyn been living at eddie betts house. What a mentor for the young boy
Eddie to the Dons?

The beauty of the 18 teams is they not be a bottom 8 side and still be absolutely ****ing nowhere like they were this year

I wouldn't be surprised if Eyre gets delisted and we invite him to be a SSP pick.
Eyre will not be delisted
Great development this year
Steady VFL performance played on the best forwards all year
Smithy Coaches Award Votes equal to the top 10 draft pick
Top 7 in the VFL Best & Fairest
Surely you would not delist??

I love this Phillpou pick, he will be a beast, plays forward and midfield his frame is solid (190cm/85kgs) and will be a nightmare to match up on with his athleticism going forward. Huge kick on him, ariel ability and scoreboard impact. This kid has massive upside with so many quality traits.

He took tiny steps
Great development not so much
I think he took more than tiny steps. The only real down side in his game was his marking when forward. The fact that he was getting to as many contests as he did showed he had a good read of the game. Still has plenty of steps to go but I would have said good progress .

We are talking about only having 4 list spots now that Tippa has recommitted, but we currently have 6 draft picks - will the afl allow that or do we have to delist more/drop (or consolidate) picks?
You do not have to use all the picks . 😎
