what's even more staggering is how the haul was accumulated

Liam Baker never finished in the top 3 of the B&F did he? Jack Graham the same. Shai Bolton the only genuine one who was worth a first rounder..

staggers me how easy they acquired first round picks

Also Daniel Rioli.

Definitely capitalised on their outgoing players.

Clubs are really picking the eyes out of the Vic Metro and Country talent.

The Allies and WA were both very competitive at the champs….should be some very solid interstate talent available when we pick if we are prepared to roll the dice and risk the go home factor.

That Richmond haul is impressive.

Every draft is impressive. It's called recency bias.

History shows us that not all picks turn out great, and most of their key position players are in the less certainty range. They've decided to go all in one draft instead of spreading it out which is a big risk.

But I'd like them to defy history as I like teams being rewarded for realising it's over rather than them being clueless like West Coast were and Collingwood are (albeit could've been earlier, cough Taranto/Hopper cough) but the realist in me says it's not likely.

social media already writing off the 2025 draft as hopeless and Dons deal was poor. Even before realising Dees were sliding down this year
