It’s a big investment but it’s the right draft to do it in. Huge risk for us taking just the one player in the top 40 on the same hand
We're looking at 3 from the top 40 dude, and another in the early 40's with 2x firsts next year.

Norf is what a team with Keystone as it's recruiter would look like.
Im not necessarily saying to do it

Im saying if the recruiters really rate the KPF theyd probably have to give up an F1 at that stage such is the rating of the draft

2nd rounders werent getting it done there, so either back your ratings or miss out

2nd rounders get laughed out

Teams have always given up buckets to trade into players they want

Liam Stocker
Jeremy Sharp

And most here have said KPFs are a need

Its getting to the point late enough where a multitude of 2nds could work

We have 3 more picks to come - 37, 39, 43.

So it’d be taking 13, 37, 39, 43 at this point.
So 9 and 31 became an F1, Kako, 37, 39 and 43?

I don’t know WTF people are bitching about.

I thought were had 3x in the 40’s next..? I’m okay with what we’ve done - especially happy with the Melb F1. Just think we should have gone a little harder this draft

We did a deal. We now have 37, 39 and 43

Mate they gave up a likely top 4 pick for an experiment. Think about what you're saying.

I know you're probably enamoured by this draft because it's been labelled a "super draft" (which it isn't) but a top 4 pick is a top 4 pick regardless of what year it's in. Bad decision. Terrible decision.

Ill back in many professionals on 100k+ salaries over a bigfooty poster here, but thanks

Its a big price to pay, but they like us their board says they need KPDs as was suggested KPFs for us

They get back pick 19 aswell

As i said weve seen basically straight F1s given for pick 27 Sharp before in a much weaker draft

Weve seen F1s for pick 19 liam stocker innmuch weaker drafts

If you want them and rate them, thats whats required. That just cant be argued

Weve seen huge offers reported for Dev Robbo and Matt Johnson 1st pick of 2nds in much weaker drafts offered aswell. The list goes on

At that point its the market, its a sellers market as soon as someone picks up the phone

Lmao you could say that about literally every post on this forum. Nevertheless you're acting like every club was offering a F1 for 27 when they weren't and didn't, and of course out of all of them it was Norf. The so-called club that has gone so well with all of the "professionals" they've had. As if no person outside of a club has been bang on in spite of professionals elsewhere. Carn mate. A likely top 4 pick is in the certainty range regardless of what draft it's in. Even in some of the worst drafts the best players have been taken in that range.
