Jones is by far the best way to go, Embley in my opinion is injury prone and unless he plays a couple of good games in a row is doubtful at best. Melbourne may not set the world on fire and win heaps of games but expect Jones to get alot of it.

Boximus Prime out.

Eagleton's 58% game time during the NAB isn't a true reflection of his game time through out the year though. He is in the older bracket (only 29 though) so they are really only pacing him through the NAB games.

So are you saying you'd expect him to get more game time in the regular season?

Looks like he gets used purely as an impact player, but is a ball magnet when he's on.

Hard to get good TOG with the doggies, guys like West, coondog, BJ, Cross and the likes...

Cross looks good this year @ 400K him and Stanton look like bargains 2 me...

Would you rather Swan and Goodes or Stanton and Cross!!!

Stanton and Cross.

I'm already nervous about having 4 Bombers in my current line up so I'd be totally against drafting a fifth. I do take your point though.

Oh hell yeah. Last year Eagle played nearly 85% of TOG on ground last year. Thats a significantly more then then 58%. Like i said, they are just pacing him through the pre-season so he's ready to go round 1. He's only 29, there are plenty of guys running around older then him, like Nathan Brown and Goodwin ect, they do alright.

Agree with the last part however Eagle is no Brown or Goodwin.
Im expecting around 60%-70% game time early and around 60% towards the second half of the season.

If a few of the youngsters come on like Hill we may not even see him in the side.

Waters, Mcleod and Newman....

Waters may pick up a cog or two this year down back

Mcleod,,,how will more time up fwd effect his scoring and consistancy

Newman....Has richmond got too many high poss getters down back now with McMahon, King, Bowden down their...do people think Bowden's scores will go down!!!

Trying to stay away from the middle tier players and just have 5 guns and 2 rookies....Last 2 spots Mcleod, Newman, Waters, Milburn, Bowden or Walker.

G'day everyone, some great ideas in all the posts to help with my DT.

Can anyone point me in the direction of an up to date injury and availability list? ... I'd hate to pick someone who was out for 6 weeks!

Why not? Probably the best choice ruckman under 300k (other than Simmonds) because of 2 reasons:

1) Will be the no.1 ruckman at Geelong, Ottens will be in the ruck when Blake is given a rest.
2) He's still relatively young and the only way is up.

Havnt seen a whole lot of him, but from what i know, good tap ruckmen, but apart from that not a whole lot lot to talk about
