Hey guys just wondering about peoples thoughts on Mattner and Barlow. Barlow has continued to perform well in the Nab cup/challenge games and for less than 200K should be a very good cash cow. Just thinking that he may not get as much time on the paddock as Mattner and therefore he may be a better choice. Anyone have any opinions?

I say get Mattner he is underpriced and will get more game time with Kennely semi injured and Malcheski injured.

Armitage 130k (young gun who has scored 80 and 90 dt pts in last 2 rounds, another good performance and he could well be starting the first 10 rounds)
Cross (worth more than 400k)
Hall 295k (coming back from injury capable of +90 for a season)
Nicoski 208k (coming back from injury)
Ellis 210k (young gun should play every game if no injury)
Hurn 230k (good form against Carlton)
Symes 260k (didn't get a run at Port but is an absouloute gun so he worth more than 350 imo).
Mattner 255k (see more game time/improvement)
Hawkins 195k (one to watch Pavlich like)
Roughead 220k (bit of a smoky see how he plays tonight against Adelaide)
Sellar 83k (good sources told me he will play from round 1, good forward)
Schammer 230k (coming back from injury good player)
Coughlan 195k (still haven't seen much of him yet.)
Bradshaw 170k (ditto to coughlan)
Vince 160k ( young forward will get senior action in 08)
Johncock 300k (coming back from injury capable of 350k price)
Mundy 302k (gun who was expected to peak last year, time is right)
Houli 195k (will see regular action)
Dyson 200k (ball magnet will see senior action all year.)
Morton 110k (gun good pre season form J.selwood like)

All I'm saying is that half the newbs on here wouldn't have noticed what he scored in limted gametime etc. and if people want to get a guy who can score well but is still slightly unique than sprouting all their info about isn't the best way to keep it on the down-low.

Stop being ridiculous, that stat was announced on triple M last night during the game and they were going on about it a bit so a lot of people will already know. You must think your pretty good if you thought you were the only one who had him in your team.

being an essendon supporter I should probably now this, but due to the way essendon play their footy (run and carry)
Will stanton's scores be reduced due to the amount of points he got from marks last year.
If we played stagnant footy, it would obviously mean a better score for stanton.
75 wasn't too bad for his first game back in afl level.

Stanton is in for another big year. As has been said he had limited game time, but his first quarter should have been enough to show you how often the bombers like to go to him. He is a good kick and has that good kick to handball ratio.
I wouldn't have been put off by his performance last night. I would've been encouraged by it.

I swore to myself going into the season that I'd leave him alone, but the more I hear the more I'm tempted.
He's looking very, very good and you know Sydney will go to him. I'll have to do some serious re-jigging of my team to fit him in though
