r harvey - 88.8
g ablett (snr) - 92.3
w carey - 90.1
j hird - 86.6

Yes I do mate - 175 games (Coleman considered a superstar after 95, so number of games not an issue). Hasnt missed a game since since round 15 2001, so there's your consistency from a DT point of view.
5 time All Aust.
Plays in all possies.
I have had 3 DT must haves last 3 years regardless of price. Pav, The Chad and Kane Cornes

I realise this post is old but I've been away for a couple of days and this just rubbed me up the wrong way a bit..

Coleman played 98 games.. and kicked 537 goals. Think about that.
He kicked 12 goals on debut.
He kicked 100 goals in his first season.
He kicked 100 goals or more in three of his six seasons.
He kicked 10+ goals in a game 12 times.
He had the f*****g medal named after him.

That's why he was a superstar.

It was what he did in those 98 games. No player will replicate that and God knows what he could have achieved if knee reconstructions were then what they are today.

Pavlich shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as Coleman unless its to say how ridiculous it would be to compare them... like this sentence.

Call him a superstar if you want but leave Johnny out of it.

Thought he was going to have 300 last year against Brisbane when kick to kick was in full flow. Soft last qrtr for 166 only.

As much as you like this kind of footy for your dreamteam, i have to admit that the nab cup was good with the kicking behind not being a mark rule. This will ultimately get rid of the time wasting and stoopid stop start footy which is plaguing our great game.

Is Ben Reid any chance of playing 15ish games this year? I had a quick play with the Pies best side and I can't get him into the 22 let alone keep him there. He looks like value but looks can be deceiving.

i agree
i think the term superstar gets thrown around a bit hap-hazardly

Remember the Richmond Geelong game at the TD last year, imagine if Chapman had got injured. He scored 70 points what in roughly 20-25% gametime. That would have definately pushed Carey's if he hadn't gone down.

collingwood seem to have tall forwards coming out their backside
assumig rocca keeps his spot u have reid rusling and possibly dawes later on not to mention fraser fighting for that 3rd tall, thats if malthouse chooses to have 3 attacking talls

as well as nathan brown

thats hard to say, remember he had to keep that up the entire game
i member one game n g brown got about 75 odd in the last quarter against collingwood

Would he be first in line? I don't trust Rocca to stay fit for 22 mins let alone 22 games and Rusling just needs to sneeze and something needs a reconstruction.

I think he was a real show that night for 200+. No defence and the ball was only in 1 half of the field all night. Plus he was just on fire.

if i thought reid was a def. started he'd be an automatic selection for my team, but he isnt in atm
if they decide for 3 talls he is fighting with rusling (eventhough he isnt overly tall)
reid is still a bit green and needs developing, he has shown a lot of promise early though but keep in mind he was the youngest afl listed player last year, so he still has a lot of development to go
but he is very tempting at his price i must admit

Thanks I'll keep an eye out for when Rocca and Rusling go down;)

Have you guys read whether Roos is serious about setting up Jack in McVeighs tagging role or is he just being prepared as a backup?

i read something but u can never quite trust wat u read
i got bird in atm and am very close to getting jack as well
but i cant quite figure out if he is going to get a gig rd1

Had him captain that night too, a bit of a shame. Anyway speaking of Chapman, IMO is the best DT forward, is he worth it from the start considering his Pre-season? Have him at the moment, one of my favourite players, but considering S.Johnson and picking Chappy up later. What are peoples thoughts on Chapman and his situation?

i just had a quick can on the swans board and of the 7 properly named teams for rd 1 4 of them had jack named
but to start off with he was 1/3 meaning a lot of hte fans have enjoyed his preseason form and think it warrants selection
so he is def. in the mix

I'd say being eased in. TOG early may be restricted which could lead to a nice trade option 6 rounds in when cash has been compiled and his price is mid - high 3s. If he's fit he's a non-negotiable IMO.
