^^ how so cbreban?

Do people think Gilbee will be worth 341.5k? Or would I be better off downgrading him and upgrading elsewhere? And my other question is would people prefer Cross or Priddis? I'm thinking Cross is gonna be ultra-consistent and improve on last years, but I'm just afraid that Priddis will improve more than Cross will.

Would really appreciate people's thoughts on the above. Thanks guys.
Gilbee is worth the money, but I honestly think that Waters, Newman and Birchall are better selections around the same price.

ive got 4 roughies around the 230 k price in backs:
I will reveal 1 in which is a real roughie T.Murphy (hawk) is he goin to play much this year as he has quite good disposal and is a good size defender. With no J.Smith,Jacobs and C.brown early will he play??

and if so how many games early and for whole season?

Disagree once again

Gilbee - Proven DT Scorer

Other 3 havnt had season to back up last year

man..u honestly expect ppl to tell u wat they think if ur all about not telling ur 3 roughies?

Is B.Johnson really worth getting after Welsh has been added to side and Aker looks like he may steel his ball. Hahn and Murphy are looking to play forwards and the doggies may play a ruck in the goal square in which he may be the long target more often.

I cant fit BJ in my salary cap but i can fit in S.Johnson should i do this or try to make a spot for BJ

BJ last 5 years = 100 / 94 / 97 / 100 / 100 --- Missed 2 games

SJ last 5 years = 58 / 74 / 68 / 67 / 95 --- Missed 43 games

I'll let you work it out from here.

.

That is a load of sh!t.

Why is he at that price?

Maybe because he averaged what he did!

It's far from a load of shit

He didnt show any DT potential before last season, for all we know last year might've been a fluke for him DT-wise

Wow 54, those stats on Johnson are incredible , looks to have missed even more games than Ash Hansen.

If memory serves correctly Waters has done pretty well the last two seasons at least, could be wrong though. Agree on the other two, but there is definitely a lot of potential there, hence my willingness to select them ahead of Gilbee.

think most cats are too expensive to have at this point in time..im hoping to pick up a couple bit later in season. only ones in consideration for me were mackie and prismal.

anyone think travis johnstone can return to some good form at brisbane? and likewise with bradshaw?

No doubt the other 3 have alot of potential. I've got Birchall myself and Gilbee, other 2 arnt all that bad either

Steve Johnson is the most overpriced player in the game.

Not sure about that buddy, just because Geelong had an above average season doesn't mean he is straight out an overpriced player....Geelong look to be dominant again this year, and Stevie J scored a century in one of the preseason matches, suggesting he is still / if not more than capable of backing up last year's scores....

along with a 90
take out his 31 (assuming it was tog) and he has had a very good pre season

Mackie, S.Johnson, Stokes - Overpriced

Pre-season form doesnt mean much. All it's good for is to see how the youngsters are going and which ones might get a go round 1. Notting has notched up 109 and 78 in his last 2 pre-season games means nothing though.

What do ppl think about Bradshaw? Will he play most of the year? Will he play rd 1?

yea bradshaws a good bloke caring man thats for sure.
He will most of the year as long as he doesnt get injured.
Should play round 1. ( i'd get raw talent / powerflags confirmation on it though).

E.Barlow/Houli/B.Johnson
T.Murphy/S.Buckley/S.Johnson ......... + Waters or Birchall who should i go i just dont want to make wrong decision.
put all of these annoying q's in the player v player thread
stop getting ppl to pick ur team for u and go with ur instinct

say if u saw someone like montys team would u copy? its no fun if u pick a team where u havent personally selected a lot of players

We'll see, pick him then. Just another dud team I can cruise by in the rankings :thumbsu:

Speaking of rankings....where did you place last year wise guy?

Crebran know all dont mess with him hes in div se7en and came top 200 last year. However i feel SJ is not overpriced and could be a godd roughie as many will feel this and i feel he can weave magic and score over 100 on a consistant basis. Franklin can also do the same and you cant hide the fact that LBF can avg more than 115 this year. Sure its big but this kid has everything.

I knew I was gonna get one of these replies...
I know damn well that preseason form doesn't mean much, but it is reassuring for us as DTers to see some of our favoured players go well...

He has everything except the desire to pull his head in, train hard and become what he is capable of becoming. He is a ****ing sook and gives away more frees than any other player going around. As long as his attitude remains shitty then he will be nothing other than great one week, average the next - inconsistant.
