If they aren't ready to make an announcement yet knock one together haphazardly they would be attacked for being unprofessional as well.

But that's the thing, Wicked Witch are the ones taking that opportunity to make the games, so why should they be above criticism? We all want the best product. If they're gonna develop Football games, then why shouldn't they be kept to a standard? This game will likely be another port, which is basically buying the same broken product again.

They just had the understanding of how Football should be translated to a video game. That's why it's easily the best Football video game ever made, since no other had so many of the core elements.

But they should be criticized in a way that can help encourage them to fix it, Not in a way that just dogs them out for making a bad game. Suggestions and Encouragement is the key to improvement and considering that a lot of this forum has gone "This and That are broken, Wicked Witch are s**t!" It won't help with anything. If they were able to be on here, I bet you that they would have actually listened but they are not because of Tru Blu! If you want to get improvements on the game, Get Tru Blu to get Wicked Witch on BigFooty and we might be able to tell them what needs to be improved.
Wicked Witch might not be as good as Big Ant but we do need to be able to contact them about the game, We're not getting anything done here by just wallowing here and dogging Wicked Witch to hell and back. Let's try and get them on here and actually tell them the problems.

And the problem is so many barely gave Live 2 a chance and so never looked at the positives of the game
I remember WW saying in the past that they do have people who are on here observing what is said but it does seem like tru blu have put the tape over their mouth in regards to getting involved here (again tru blu deserve the heat and the criticism that continues to be incorrectly pointed at WW)

I've said what's wrong with their games. It's merely a kick and mark style, like the old PS2 versions.
You paraphrased me, I said that they're merely porting their games, creating the same broken product. I'm using that as evidence they're not building a good foundation, which is a must. I've suggested having a great deal of knowledge with Football and then knowing how to translate that into a video game. That's one thing Big Ant themselves have insinuated that Wicked Witch lack in.
I absolutely agree that our ideas should be used to build the best game possible, but I haven't seen Wicked Witch come on here, and they're registered. That's the difference between them and Big Ant. They were on here non stop during development, without fans asking for Tru Blu, who wouldn't listen anyway, to get them to come on and they did incorporate many of ideas into the game. I mean, I see where you're coming from.
I had all that optimism a while back, but I'm just telling the writing on the wall. Wicked Witch do not have a good track record with sport games. Also, what's this conspiracy Tru Blu are stopping them from coming on here?

Oh, yeah, they're completely disregarding them from being involved in development. They don't have The Wicked Witch logo on any of their latest games. I've think they've come in as a cheap replacement developer With Union and AFL, just to produce a quick buck.
Hardly a conspiracy, back in the Live 1 days Ross got in trouble from tru blu for being too open on here so it stands to reason that tru blu have probably told WW to keep quiet
Also big ant saying WW don't have the football knowledge is a questionable call as they said this when Ross was tearing WW and Live 2 to shreds around the time Live 2 was announced, I remember the immature and unprofessional attitude standing out pretty strongly back then
Again though you are having a go at WW time and time again when tru blu are giving WW next to no time and a ridiculously small budget to make their games (if big ant couldn't come to terms on time frame and budget for Live 2 then it stands to reason that WW would've been largely underfunded)
Sure big ant deserve praise for Live 1 but you're being moronic if you think WW have had the time or budget (on Live 2) equivalent to what big ant had on Live 1

But I said Wicked Witch came in as a cheap solution, I never said they had the same time or budget. They had only a year to port Live 2. Why are they above criticism when they're the ones making poor deals with Tru Blu? They're open to criticism as much as Tru Blu. What realistically do you think they should do to improve on their games? I think making proper deals would be a start, but that's better said that done. I can see your argument, but again, any developer or publisher are open to criticism.

TruBlu, Commander Idiot cause yeah they've got their own orders but they are still giving their sergeants **** all to work with.
The AFL, The clueless ****ing president who barely even knows that there is a war on, cause if the AFL realised just how big a marketing opportunity that gaming could provide and so puts in the resources it warrants, then this becomes a totally different conversation.
And look now WW have seemingly managed to get tru blu to give them the time they need
So many people see WW are behind this and are ready to tear it to shreds even though we haven't had a chance to see what WW are capable of with the time and budget that big ant get

As I've said before, If the game comes out and it isn't good. It will be Wicked Witch to blame for it. They've been given the time to make a decent AFL game this time. I'm just saying people shouldn't fully blame them for AFL Live 2 and it's quality and use that as a reason to hate Evolution out of the gate. If they screw up with Evolution considering the time they've had, I'll be with you guys criticizing Wicked Witch as they will have no-one to blame but themselves this time.

The AFL governing body are too interested in political correctness, rather than making money. We could have had an Football game with 2K or EA budget by now, with the amount they've thrown into PC ventures. If only The AFL were run by someone like Dana White, who actually likes his sport and who can make it very profitable.

How about I give you $10 and 4 years to go make an AFL game. No excuses, you have ample time.
Before I cop "AHA YOU WORK AT WICKET WITCH!!!1!". I'll like to point out that I wasn't much of a fan of AFLL2 and although they got a lot of things right, the gameplay was a massive step in the wrong direction.
But, I seriously hope you realise that there are dozens of factors other than how much time is put into a game
But hey, if you get a kick out of mocking people for having a bit of hope, good on you.
